Kyle, I hope you are well and that your journey is full of adventure and glorious sights. It was nice meeting you in Sgnirps-Asogap. I hope your rig is holding up. I was so fortunate to have not a single flat tire on my ride from Durango to Taos. The climb up through Tierra Amarilla was tough. I walked my rig for about 5 miles in intervals. The descent was sweet though, especially with the BOB Yak helping me down. A cinnamon-colored juvenile black bear came within a quarter mile of my campsite and a road angel named Terry West took a picture of it. The bear never bothered me. I spent the night under the first lean-to that I came upon at the top of the mountain. My jounral is posted at www.crazyguyonabike.com Search for "Durango".....or should I say "Ognarud"?
