We are a young couple who believe that people need to be traveling, period. The world is large and as a member of the human race we all have a duty to explore it and get a well rounded perspective before we can make ANY determinations about ourselves or our place on this planet.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently! We have been disposed in the Thar Desert since the last time we wrote. From Agra, we took a train to Jaipur (The Pink City) in the state of Rajasthan! That city was really incredible, we hiked the huge mountain up to the humungous onlooking fort in Jaipur. It was a great experience and we could see the entire city. After Jaipur and its amazing bazaars and hill forts, we took another train to Jodphur which is the 'Blue city' This cities buildings are painted a beautiful blue hue and from the castle on the hill we could see the entire city! IT was really breathtaking. In Jodhpur we found a local camel jockey who hosts camel safaris into the Thar Desert! We were both excited to head out ... read more

Varansi aka Benares aka Kashi After Agra and the Taj Mahal, Ari and I hopped on a night train at 11:00pm headed toward the holy city of Varanasi! Varanasi is the holiest city in the Hindu religion and for good reason, this place is amazing. Over 5000 years old and continually occuppied since man first walked this region. The Ganges river flows through this city and the Ganges is worshipped here because it is the bringer of life to the region. India has been an absolute whirlwind so far!! We shared our 13hour train journey last night with a very friendly Indian family that consisted of grandma, husband and wife and there little girl. THey shared Indian sweets with us and some fried treats they had, they were on there way to a wedding in Lucknow ... read more

Were in Bangkok as time is running out on our little adventure. Were both ready for the real world again but are sad that our adventure is coming to an end. This trip I think more than any has opened our eyes and changed our hearts in a few ways. I know for me personally (kyle) Cambodia shook me to the core. I had never seen a country so torn to pieces by a recent genocide and war. So many beautiful people living in such total poverty, it was hard to see, but im glad we did because it has made us appreciate our blessings so much more. Thailand is full of some of the nicest, most hospitable people we have ever met and well never forget this place and hope to return one day. Today ... read more

So were doing a bt of back blogging! We are now back in Bangkok but we just got in from a quick flight up from Krabi and the AMAZING Koh Phi Phi!!! Me and Ari took a boat from Railey beach and Ao Nang to the amazing island of Koh Phi Phi, we stayed in an incredible resort right on the back bay of the island. Its an inlet almost completly surrounded by limestone cliffs, the water is completely transparent and bright blue. It was incredible. We just waded around in the water and drank pineapple shakes... We rented a long tail boat driver for about 3 hours and he took us to the most beautiful beach ive ever seen in the world called Maya Bay (google it) its where they filmed the movie "the beach". ... read more

We are rather speechless at the moment, but well try and get down some of te things weve seen in the last couple days. From Koh Tao, we took a speed boat to Chumporn which is a little port city in the Gulf of Thailand. Then we took a bus into Chumpoun, a taxi to a mini van and the mini van into Krabi Town! Krabi is soooo cool, its on the Andaman Sea and there is much more if a Muslim presence here with Mosques seeming to be more usual than Buddhist Temples. Its beautiful, and right on the ocean. So from Krabi we took a local bus into Ao Nang which is a beautiful beach city with HUUUGE limestone cliffs jetting out of the emerald sea. The water is a clear green and the ... read more

Hello family and friends!! We are alive and well! The last couple days have been in transit so internet was nowhere to be found haha. After Hua Hin we took a 5 hour train south to Champhoun which is another little port city south of Bangkok on the Gulf of Thailand. We got into town around 3 and then book a night boat on a supply ferry that left Champoun and 11 pm and would arrive on a little diving island called Koh Tao. The boat was absolutely insane, hahahahahaha. We stepped on around 10:00 and it was an old rust bucket, there were wall to wall bunk beds and we quickly hopped in the first set we could find to reserve a spot to sleep for the night. The boat was filled with Thai people ... read more
