Enjoy the Silence? - From: Get it INDIA!
Just one question Katie: what the hell do you think about when you aren't talking for 10 days? Mince pies? Galahs? David Hasselhoff? Big Kev? Sounds like a recipe for surreality to me... Safe travels. D.

Slander... - From: Kathmandu - not just a clothing label
"Lovely gentleman?" You make me sound like I'm about 80 and like to sit on park benches to feed pigeons... (well the second part is true) I'm more used to the term "Northern ****." Good luck with the travels Katie - I shall follow your progress on here. I'm expecting more photos though - particularly if you spot any of those beautiful XC34 model escalators... Take care!

I'm glad you've carried on the tradition of back=packing by ignoring all safety warnings. How else could hi-jinx be performed? I'm glad you are safe in India and I hope you aren't missing beef too much while you are there.

Quiz Champ - From: This entry may be censored....
Hey lovely thanks for your quiz - it's great timing cause work has a trivia night coming up this week and if there's any chinese-toilet/poisoning/dope related questions i'm going to shoe it in (beyond that i know some useless stuff about Elvis). Love reading your adventures and the fact that you went on a 59 hour train ride (or was it delayed for 59 hrs?) either way your hard core. How goes the showers? do you smell like a backpacker yet? Glad to see you put your 'setting-up-life' money towards something good - you're only there once, and when in Rome and all that! Keep smiling (and away from yakky drinks) Love jules xx

I demand copyright fees! - From: Santiago! (heaven is a cathedral filled with German tourists??)
As someone who bussed it part of the way (the death stage through the desert) as my walking companion a German ex-air hostess called Ebba and possibly one of the most beautiful and interesting people I have ever met was pregnant and started to get pains, then I carried her bag some of the way too when we walked, we were met with derision at the hostels and it pissed me off! I ended up having it out with some angry Czech bloke (what IS it with Czech's, they always seem so angry?!) But yes, I think I might have got Santiago as heaven wrong, I think Santiago is supposed to represent re-birth, or something, oh hell, I dunno, but I did feel a certain joy and glee upon glimpsing the cathedral for the first time after walking down the windy streets. Incidently, I made good money in Santiago after borrowing someones flute on a kind of time share and did some busking!!

Sweaty eh! - From: Day in the life of a Peregrino
When you said you were coming home slowly I didn’t realise you were walking! It sounds awesome though, except for the pain bit, but I’m sure you’ve survived worse. Wish I had joined you! Still even at 7Kg I’m sure Tessa would have felt pretty heavy after a few days!. Keep it up have fun. Rob PS so are you walking 1km for each of your sins?

our adventure... - From: Day in the life of a Peregrino
Well, we found out that our baby sleeps about as well at home as in a tent last weekend, so that means that she's right for a month of cycle touring right? We're going to check out how she likes actually being in her trailer next weekend, and then we're on... Good to hear that there's time for some proper eating and looking around after all that walking. Do you have a camera??

KEEP ON TREKIN' - From: Day in the life of a Peregrino
I enjoy reading your blogs. We have a daughter and niece on the Camino. They are not as far as you are. Have been in a big rain storm I think about 70 km into the trip-same route you are taking. We are waiting for blogs of the happenings. It must be truly an exciting adventure. Keep blogging!

Doping - From: Things I have learned in the last 9 days
You should try the hard stuff - Panadol ;-) London Marathon seems like a walk in the park compared to this... hope you enjoy. Toes only look dead to get sympathy (or if they get frostbite - ha ha).

the dead toe? - From: Things I have learned in the last 9 days
I'm guessing that first lesson about the 'toe' had nothing to do with your own toe? Also (just in the spirit of sharing our day's adventures) today i've gotten out of bed, grabbed a coffee and now am at my desk at work (i know i should really tone down the action!) - will give you another update soon! xx Keep being inspiring! xx
