Hi Sounds like you're having some great experiences. Thanks so much for sharing these. I'm looking forward to hearing more about it when you get back and hopefully you'll get to share with some of the students planning to study abroad in Ghana next year. Best,
Rebecca
Good luck teaching Nicole
Good luck with the teaching assignment. I know how intimidating that first lesson on your own can be. Just be patient with the students and it will come.
Love you,
Aunt Pat
Hi Nicole:
Thanks for sending your messages. I was glad to hear about your weekend away. I loved how you described the beach. I think it is so neat that you are willing to experience so many new things. I know Adam has similar comments about classes when he was in Hawaii. ( certainly not a different country but a different type of culture) Take care. Love Aunt Deb
Nice to see you are relaxing Nicole
I'm glad that you are enjoying a few moments of leisure where you are spoiled. Please don't let the frustrations of this new place get you down. You need to continue to be yourself and take each moment as it comes. This is such a precious time in your life and will be something that is special for the rest of your life. Hang in there.
Ah! Homesickness Nicole, I know that you will get through this okay. When I was young and went to Europe, I got homesick, too. Time will go by very quickly now that classes have started. We all keep you in mind and pray that you have an experience of a lifetime.
Love to you, Aunt Pat
this is so sweet. i am so stoked for you, seriously. i can't wait to stalk you weekly. also, can you get mail? if so.. you best believe you'll be receiving some sweet spanish post cards / lingerie in the mail. hit me with it over facebook. miss you.
Glad to know you are doing okay. As requested I have emailed this link to the aunts, uncles and cousins. I hope that one or more of them get back to you. Looks like you are getting a new look at the world. New England is not the only place on earth (although it is the best).
Have fun.
Glad you got there safe and sound It is so cool to be reading your blog knowing that you are getting to see such interesting things. Stay safe and enjoy the heat. (Its been below freezing here for a while and we are getting a foot of snow today). Miss ya in the lab!
