| 7th December 2008 Sue Butler | amazing - From: Back in BA You two are amazing. Danny, whenever I laugh out loud while reading means the writer is incredibly good. That is you my friend. I so enjoy the gab. Photos are neat. Not much would take us on such a trip though. So traveling vicariously is slick. Take care and enjoy. Sue Butler |
| 4th December 2008 Roberta Grout | Happy Holidays - From: Back in BA Danny and K, sounds like you are having a great time. I hope the ambassador was duly impressed with Cool. Can't think of a better couple of ambassadors from Cool to make a good impression. |

| 20th November 2008 Linda | beautiful - From: No mas autobus! Your pictures are gorgeous and this sure sounds like a great trip. I'm with you though, I don't think I could handle all that bouncing around on dirt roads in a van for very long. Buenos dias Kazuko and Danny!! |
| 6th November 2008 Mandcmerrick | Hi, - From: Punta del Este Yo Danny. It certainly looks as if you both are having a splendid time upside down in Argentina. Your bulletins are enormously geographical, I'm sure you'll get an "A" on this course! You missed two great days of rain last weekend so the fire danger is all over for this year. I came top in east-west last week. Have you checked out the BA bridge scene? Enjoy our beautiful world. Mike |
| 29th October 2008 Linda & Rich | "A relative was running the place?...." - From: Remember my passport... We need more info. I agree with the person on the previous blog who said that they envy you, your experience. I more than second that. All I can add to your wonderful blog, is that it is cold here right now in GA. Linda |
| 29th October 2008 Linda & Rich | the impression - From: Gauchos of the Eastern Pampas I'm getting the impression that you are less than impressed with the BA experience. So, how does the beef measure up to No. American beef? Linda |
| 27th October 2008 Margarethe Hasenburger | Great Outing - From: Gauchos of the Eastern Pampas Dear Danny and Kazuko, I am so glad you are having a good time and nice weather. I envy you for this great experience - I would love to be there with you! Looking forward to further news also about your health - Love, Margarethe PS: I think they are picking Kazuko for the kissing because she looks so beautiful and adventurerous. |
| 25th October 2008 Linda & Rich | el tigre - From: A Walk Through Tigre Your el tigre comments put me in mind of the rumor down here that jaquars occasionally make an appearance this far north. They call them black jaquars or panthers due to the color of their coat and the fact that they sport those black jaquar spots. Apparently, they migrate out of FL when conditions are just right. Meg's Dan swears he has seen one or two in so. GA. Linda |
| 25th October 2008 Linda & Rich | ste - From: Lost in Translation So, how was the calamari stew? Can't imagine what that would taste like... Linda |
| 25th October 2008 Linda & Rich | HA - From: The Misplaced Ear Bud Great story. So, which hospital is more like the military model in the US? Linda |
| 19th October 2008 Margarethe | Great to hear from you - From: The Misplaced Ear Bud Dear Kasku and Danny, great to hear from you with all the detailled experiences you are having. Nothing special around Austria, I am keeping busy having friends staying with me , meeting Gerti,Rosi and Fritzi, attending performances. On Tuesday I am taking Laurin to a ballett performance in the Volksoper. "Max and Moritz" a well known quite cruel story about two boys doing all kinds of bad things to people! Hope he willnot get the idea of copying them! Today, Sunday, is very nice but rather cold - I will stay home enjoying cleaning the place and taking the leaves off my terrace - there are still wonderful flowers out there. Best regards, love, Margarethe PS: Glad to read that you can still hear well again - quitea strange "surgery" that had to be done. |
| 19th October 2008 Sandi W | The man with the fuzzy ear - From: The Misplaced Ear Bud LoL! You and your weird adventures! Glad they found out what it was while you were down there. Can you imagine getting home and your Doc. finding compacted black stuff in your ear. You might have been diagnosed with some new, rare disease. Then they'd have to put you in a research study and all. And I bet the medical bills would add up to a lot more than 100 pesos. So.... what wine are you drinking? |
| 17th October 2008 Marge Hier | Laugh till I cried - From: The Misplaced Ear Bud Danny..... I thought I was going to read something about the drivers with ear buds in listening to music.... or skate boarders (any in Argentina that you have seen), and instead, I get the explanation about the latest in the medical saga. SO FUNNY !!!!! but I am ever so glad that it wasn't something that required more treatment, that is other than another glass of wine. Keep on enjoying and sharing with all of us. Adios... m |
| 9th October 2008 maser | Fangio? - From: Settling into Buenos Aires Such a good man. He also used to be at his house in Caseros aVENUE, between Dean Funes and La Rioja, barrio parque patricios. |
| 8th October 2008 Marge | Really good descriptions - From: Rock quarries and cemeteries Danny and Kazuko. I can really remember things we saw when we were in BA when you describe them so vividly. Are the taxi drivers really crazy... honking horns and gesturing? Think that is a Latin driving characteristic. We went to an Antiques? flea market that was amazing and contained just about anything you can imagine. Some of the folks on our tour went wild buying .... I passed on buying a lovely red colored stone (supposedly the national stone of Argentina.. milky tomato soup color) but wasn't ready to part with the money with no knowledge about gems. Knitting tomorrow Kazuko. We will be thinking about you. Love, Marge |
| 8th October 2008 Jim Day | nada - From: Rock quarries and cemeteries Hi Kazuko and Danny., Have you made arrangements to vote while in So America??? You might ask the govt of BA if they want more folks that do outstanding graffiti work. The USA would be happy to oblige. We enjoy you're blogs so keep them coming. |
| 8th October 2008 Lori | Wow! - From: Rock quarries and cemeteries Hi Danny and Kazuko, I don't know anyone who have more fun and adventures than you two! BA looks and sounds so interesting. Your TravelBLog name "Vegetarians in the Land of Carnivores" is interesting too. How are you doin' getting meals w/o the meat? Take care of that cold and ear ache! Love you, Lori |

| 30th September 2008 Dick and Michiko | History lesson - From: Peronistas, Burger King & Women in the Bathroom keep it coming Danny. Nice of you to give us a little history on Argentina. |
| 30th September 2008 Diana | Great to hear from you! - From: Hospital de Hillary I had been wondering what you two were up to. This is a neat site. Your description of the bus system reminds me of our experience in Spain this Feb. The bus was the fastest, cleanest & newest way to get to another part of Spain. Each area was served by a different company. Our friends in Spain say their relatives who immigrated to the Argentina in the 30's during the Civil War. think their Spanish is deteriorating. Are you studying Spanish? And have you tangoed yet? I'm looking forward to reading more. Cheers! from the Bachelors |
