... read moreIt is more than 2 years since I came home from Australia and during that time a lot has changed. I have been in love, engaged, pregnant, single, and become a mother. It is crazy to think that I am now entirely responsible for another human beings life. He's 7 months old and the happiest baby I have ever known. He has two teeth and is desperate to start walking and running. He's my miracle baby. Yesterday I turned 21 and spent the time in Brighton, England. I love Brighton because it reminds me a lot of Byron Bay but it also has the alleyways and cobbled streets of an old English seaside town. I had a great day with my family, but it felt empty somehow. When I was 7/8 we lived about 15 minutes

Wow that time has flown by!! In fact it will be exactly 2 months in 2 days, I got back on the 5th of November. I have tried explaining why I left/was asked to leave my DTS, but every time I type it up it comes up as 100% blaming my school leader. While it was largely her and my leaders fault I did also have the choice whether to endure or not. At the end of it all I will hoenstly say on reflection 2 months later it was 50/50. The week after I left my school they went on to chinchilla while I

Rather confusing but hey we trusted our leaders. Then Monday morning we started mission simulation. We had to pack a new bag, which thankfully included sleeping bag, and towel. During the next 28 hours we had to do various things like simulation of going through check in and an airport etc. Being interrogated, having guards stareing at us, accusations of lying, etc. It was tough but good, we then had to go to the money exchange and I led someone to Christ :D. We then went knocking on peoples doors, and had tea with pickled ginger and some pastry thing which was good,

Monday I was praying loads, and really freaking out about the whole money situation and stuff. I spent almost the entire day in the prayer room, praying and not understanding God's plan and purpose. Suddenly I was reminded of something God has said a few times during this DTS, I need to be number 1 in your life, and until that happens I cannot work in you. As I was sitting in there praying I tried to push out of my mind the one thing God had wanted me to surrender, trying to convince myself otherwise. I finally gave up, and did the hardest thing I

Here we camped almost right on the beach just a line of trees and a lane between us, it was great because it was sheltered but so close to the beach!! Absolutely beautiful place!! During our week at rainbow beach some amazing things happened, I can't go ridiculously into detail, but will still tell you all the same. Gill our lecturer for this week was talking on Worship and Missions, I hadn't realised it before but Missions cannot exsist with worship, and vice versa. Why do we do missions? For the glory of God and His Kingdom. It was an incredibly challenging week for me, Gill really challenged us to

TONS has happened, and God is moving in incredible ways. When I left England I thought I had left my entire past behind ready to start a new, but no I had just pushed it aside and ignore it. Then last week when I was panicking about lack of school fees and having lectures about interceeding for others. Our lecturer said there was someone who had something to share, and one person shared then later he felt more of us needed to share, and the next morning we had a time of people sharing what they felt God was prompting them to share

First day was fun, drove south for 2 hours, to an awesome little place called Hosanna! Chilled out for the first day, and shared testimonies etc. Some incredible stories, and just such a reminder that we're all different and have different pasts, and views but your all still one Big, Happy Family!! Day 2! Started out with some more testimonies, and lunch. In the afternoon everyone (execpt Thea, and Hannah) went on a 5 mile hike up to the top of an amazing mountain! Last group reached the ascent up a chain to the top as the first people started to come back down. These four headed down before everyone else, and took lots of shortcuts
