19th 23rd Dec 2008 19th Dec 08 Woke up early so we could say goodbye to Niall and Suz wanted to catch them before they went to work...Awww going to miss those two, weve become really good friends! We made a Christmas card out of paper and letf it onthe table for them when they return from work, hehe!! Left Blenhiem at 9.45 to get the bus to Picton then the boat to Wellington. Was on the boat at the bar and there was this old guy talking to this couple about his life, he kept saying Bloody every other word he said, he was so funny, we were listenen in on there convo, could of listened to him all day,lol! 28th Nov 19th Dec 2008 28th Nov 08 Dec 08We were goning to spend another night in the car but when we got to Blenhium we found a Hostel called Honi B's booked in and the guy from the reception gave us some numbers to call about some Vineyard Work We are staying in a little house across the road from the Hostel, seems a nice little place to stay as its quite quiet, thats what we want if were going to be working. Theres a couple called Niall and Zuz and 2 sisters called Amy and Eithna, who seem really nice to. 22nd-25th Nov 08 22nd Nov 08 Got the airport shuttle at 8.30am, good job we got it early as it went on a right detour picking different people up from hostels/hotels. Boarded our Quantas flight at 11.30am, really nice plane,nice food and gave u lots of free drinks. Got to Auckland at 4.40pm, thought we would just get a taxi because we didnt think it would be that far away, it ended up being miles away and cost us $80....Waaat a ripe off!! Staying at Nomads Fushion right in the center of Auckland. Really nice hostel, with a bar/club,resturant, lounge,tv room, internet. 1st Nov - 12 Nov 2008 1st Nov 08 Arrived at Maroochydore after a 17hr coach ride, we slept alot of the way so it wasnt to bad and we had 2 seats to our selfs so we could lie down, we got there about 11am, the coach dropped us off at the information center and we didnt have a clue where we were going so we went inside the info center and asked the women if she could direct us to Cotton Tree Backpackers she said how about i drive you there, we were like 'well if you dont mind' all the people giving us lifts,hehe. so she went to get her car out the car park and off we went, it was only about a 10minute drive so we could of walked it but ... read more

21st-25th Oct 2008 21st Oct 2008 Happy Birthday Lisa!! Got the Greyhound to Townsville, we had a 6 hour bus ride. The girl in front of us stank of BO it was making us urge...Yuk! We arrived at townsville then had a 20minute ferry ride to Magnetic Island aka Maggy. When we got on the island we herd there was a crocodile on the loose.... Ahhhh, abit sceary!! Checked in to Travellers Hideaway at Picnic Beach really nice little hostel, with a swimming pool, with hammacks by it, bbq area, tv+internet room. We are in a 4 bed dorm, sharing with 2 swedish girls, who seem really nice!
