Hey Kelly... Thanks for sending me these journal entries and pictures. Its amazing to see how life is so much more beautiful away from Los Angeles. I been reading all the entries and emercing into the pictures. I never got the nerve to leave a comment the meanwhile. So here it is! I hope you'll complete your film soon, and it turns out well. First, I was sad that you were gone, now I'm going to have to cope with not receiving these journals. C'est la vie, n'est ce pas? (...) It's going to be kind of strange having you back in the fold, you being the star of the moment, and all. I guess I'll just have to live with it. Can't wait to see your film!

Hi Kelly, I enjoyed your pictures and glad to hear you are anxious to come home. I was afraid you might like France to much. Heading south to Jaime's graduation which is the same time as Katie's. Will see her acouple of days later. Saw her performance and you can't believe how her voice has improved and her dance movements are great. Love, Nana - Nana

Aw, man. June 30th?
Needless to say, we all miss you. No, I'm not speaking for myself, I speak for everyone. Except for the third year students. You should hear what they're saying about you. (Psyche.) This year's Open Show was a doozy. Some people fell off, some people were exceptional. There were some richly deserved, and some who I won't even mention. But all in all, it was the Godfather 2 of Open Shows. You've gotta see it. I hope your film is as beautiful as-- it can be. Ask someone important to send you a copy, it's well worth the look. - Daniel

You miss Europe already? What's so great about it?
Just kidding. So it seems that Europe is, at least, AS interested in animation as we are. That's how low brow I am, I think America has the monopoly on commercialism. But do they have their own super heroes? I think NOT! Captain Britain, Soviet Super Soldiers and (I suppose) Doctor Who are all that come to mind. Correct me if I'm wrong. - Daniel

Spring has Sprung!
It looks so crisp and clean over there! I'm sure everyone, including you, feels more peppy and happy and you are all probably loving being out in the fresh air. Well I just wanted to wish you a Happy Easter and I hope you can go to a church and see how they "do" Easter. There are probably a lot of Catholic churches...have you found a Christian church yet? you guys got glen keane and we got andreas deja! america guy is in europe and europe guy is in america. can't wait for keane to come to calarts again :) glad the weather's looking up! oddly enough, the weather's been gorgeous here too. we had a hot spell, but we're past it now and back into coolness. fiiiiiilllllllllmmmmm. did the old man ever make it into your final version at all? if not, he and Paige made it into mine ;) keep an eye out for them.

Hi Kel, Am enjoying the pictures thru the eyes of a young person. You see things that I would not see. You will return to Ireland as it beckens you back. It is very mystical. We are in AZ and will return home next week. Granddad has to have another back surgery. Love ya, Nana - Nana

AMAZING!
Hey Kelly! Looks like I'm the first one to post a comment! Yeah! It's 8:22 AM over here in America, so that probably means you're finishing up your day. How was Wednesday? What can I look forward to today? Well, let me be the first to say that those photos are AMAZING! What an incredible experience. It makes my days seem pretty boring... sitting at this computer in the basement of a government building... no shear cliffs in sight. In case you haven't heard, I got a job about 6 weeks ago doing graphic design for the Washington state Senate. But I'll tell you more about that later... once I remember what you new email address is. Well, good luck to you. Meet lots more friends, and don't fall off a cliff, or a bridge, or drink too much Guiness (a.k.a dirt). Don't get too comfortable over there either. :) - Jeff
