I wasn't going to write this... But eh, why not? - From: The last paris update.
First, I was sad that you were gone, now I'm going to have to cope with not receiving these journals. C'est la vie, n'est ce pas? (...) It's going to be kind of strange having you back in the fold, you being the star of the moment, and all. I guess I'll just have to live with it. Can't wait to see your film!

Hi Kelly, I enjoyed your pictures and glad to hear you are anxious to come home. I was afraid you might like France to much. Heading south to Jaime's graduation which is the same time as Katie's. Will see her acouple of days later. Saw her performance and you can't believe how her voice has improved and her dance movements are great. Love, Nana - Nana

Aw, man. June 30th? - From: May Days
Needless to say, we all miss you. No, I'm not speaking for myself, I speak for everyone. Except for the third year students. You should hear what they're saying about you. (Psyche.) This year's Open Show was a doozy. Some people fell off, some people were exceptional. There were some richly deserved, and some who I won't even mention. But all in all, it was the Godfather 2 of Open Shows. You've gotta see it. I hope your film is as beautiful as-- it can be. Ask someone important to send you a copy, it's well worth the look. - Daniel

You miss Europe already? What's so great about it? - From: Finding sunshine, and inspiration
Just kidding. So it seems that Europe is, at least, AS interested in animation as we are. That's how low brow I am, I think America has the monopoly on commercialism. But do they have their own super heroes? I think NOT! Captain Britain, Soviet Super Soldiers and (I suppose) Doctor Who are all that come to mind. Correct me if I'm wrong. - Daniel

AMAZING! - From: Kelly's Irish Escape (pictures!)
Hey Kelly! Looks like I'm the first one to post a comment! Yeah! It's 8:22 AM over here in America, so that probably means you're finishing up your day. How was Wednesday? What can I look forward to today? Well, let me be the first to say that those photos are AMAZING! What an incredible experience. It makes my days seem pretty boring... sitting at this computer in the basement of a government building... no shear cliffs in sight. In case you haven't heard, I got a job about 6 weeks ago doing graphic design for the Washington state Senate. But I'll tell you more about that later... once I remember what you new email address is. Well, good luck to you. Meet lots more friends, and don't fall off a cliff, or a bridge, or drink too much Guiness (a.k.a dirt). Don't get too comfortable over there either. :) - Jeff

Hey! Kel Coffee seems to be your thing, so here are some hints. Coffee is much cheaper at McDonalds, BurgerKing etc. As for an American coffee and it is bigger. To make coffee at your room, just put some coffee grounds in a pan and add water, bring to a boil and turn heat off. Let the coffee grounds settle and walla you have coffee. Loved your pictures. Wow, your entries are getting better and better -- Paris looks simply /amazing/, and all of this is just fueling my desire to go there! I can't wait! People would be afraid they'd be robbed or some such pessimistic (or realistic, in the US?) thought. The gardens are breathtaking -- and the architecture! Enjoyed you first journal and your experiences in Paris. You will love the underground trains. They are so fast and we used it when we were in Paris at 11:30PM. Yes! You are probably wondering why the old folks were up that late. We went out to eat, did the Eiffel Tower and went on the boatride on the Seine River. You must do that at night sometime. Have a wonderful time Kelly. Nana - Betty Crowley
