The Great American Road Trip Sista-style!
Thank you for including us in your travels (if only I fit in a suitcase). They are always informative & entertaining. How far is an oxygen bar from the Bay Area? I'm sure you will create a warm & welcoming space in your new hometown.

Love it!
Kelli, I'm thoroughly enjoying reading your blog. We were joking recently (the chicks) about your previous "picture of the day" which you did for over 1 year! I hope your apartment search has been successful. Keep me apprised of your progress. Love, Deb

"Chai" means life - model ofTreblinka death camp

Commonalities....
Hi Kelli, Love your blog and the history lesson! Chai means "life" and I aways loved my Hebrew name, Hiyah. Beyond that, "chai" tea is my favorite....who knew one word could add such value to my life? By the way, u look just as beautiful with the curly locks as the straightened hair. Yes, the grass is always greener, and sometimes we even find goats chewing on it ......Laura

Artist colony of sorts

artist colony
I have been in San Diego for 2 weeks so have missed all your blogging. Have to read it and catch up. Just saw this though and was very jealous. I wanted to find this type of thing when I was there and buy a piece of art; a painting but it was cold and rainy and there were no artists anywhere where we thought they might be. Just too wet!! Meanwhile I saw your comment about the trains. Wow, Ilana went on little jaunts everywhere but I know she didn't pay those prices; she had no money; I will have to ask her how she travelled. Sounds like you are having a wonderful trip. Keep enjoying, need I say that, no!!!!!!!

Count down... demain...Le Jour de Bastille! - LA VIE EN ROSE
Another walk down Paris pour moi.... DeH. cooking establishment reeked with the smell of garlic, rosemary and sage. What incredible memories are being made, and the storyteller you are will gladen the heart of your grandbabies to be. Drinking wheat grass shots and thanking you for the ernstwhile prayers. A second opinion is scheduled for July 18th with a wellknown oncologist/surgeon bladder person. Went haywire and had a relaxing French pedicure. The seat had a back massage feature, the dingdong of the Vietnamese lingo got to me after awhile. spoken and written grammatical English is a thing of the past in this town, and indeed in many cities. Looking forward to your mental pictures of your next escapade... on a hapy note, understand that the Euro is at a 2 year low. Beneficial for the Champs Elysee (?) shoe enthusiasts.. Signing off; Hugs to Lee and no surprise that Will & Ry are so happy inBarcelona. Great place~ Josephine.. french for Giuseppina

Paris
Hi Kelli, I'm green with envy, wish I was there too, but I know you guys are having a great time! I was thinking about you right before you left and have a gorgeous pic of the eiffel that I will send you. I have a few suggestions if you don't know about them already. The fastest entrance to the Louvre is through the Carousel entrance on Rue de Rivoli and going to the Louve at night (alot less crowded) on Tues or Weds nite? I don't remember what night it's open, check first. A store that I love for paris fashion with great prices is Nina Jacob (2 locations in Paris) 23 Rue de Francs-Bourgeois in the 4th (Marais). In the winter they have beautiful boiled wool coats and summer great linen. Wonderful french onion soup at Chez Flottes on Rue Cambon.

Paris
I am so jealous. If and when you go to any museums just go super early - it was crazy there; right after Easter. You must go to the restaurant that is across and down the street from the Louvre; the best hot chocolate that pours like a melted chocolate bar out of the pot. One pot will feed 2 of you and their desserts!!! And yes, I miss the croissants that Ilana bought me every morning while I was there. If you have a chance to go and have not been there go to Mont St. Michel in Brittany; it is amazing and the 2nd most visited site in Paris after the Eiffel Tower. We did not stay in Mont St. Michel. We stayed in an ancient walled town called St. Malo and took a bus to the Abby. You do have to stay over night; too long a trip to go for a day. Have a wonderful time. love Linda.

Very nice post!
Hi Kelly, I really liked your perspective about my homtown Tel Aviv, and Israel in general. Tel Aviv is indeed an amazing city. After extensive travels throughout the world I have to admit it's my favorite city. Glad you enjoyed it too. Come back soon! Ohados
