Pizza
It's 10 days too late, but if you need pizza in Rabat, I recommend the Weimar Cafe in the Goethe Institut. You can even do a half pizza/half salad option. And since it's German, it's technically not American. ;-) And the beer is cold and comes in big mugs. Just get there early--it fills up fast.

I went to Huangshan few years ago. I have lived up there for one night in the hotel. It was actually great. I think it was because of weather. During the morning period, you can actually see cloud beneath you and you want to jump down what I called " cloud sea" It was amazing!

Same here
It's funny... but I get the exact same feeling when I talk politics with some people here in America.. Especially with republicans.. They seem to have been either brainwashed or just not reading some GOOD newspapers in a while.. When they talk about how great GWBush has been for the country, I just feel like you felt when you talked with those girls. You and me are both thousands of miles away from home, in a country that is very different from our own, and still you can find so many common points.. especially the one of misinformation.

lol
lol, everyone knows that China's media is fair and balanced... Im sure those girls opinions were entirely accurate even with all the censorship. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, because you're media isnt censored.

perhaps you misunderstood
I wasn't blaming them for anything, obviously what they can or cannot learn is not their fault, its just a difficult situation. Obviously in the west, we are not always told an unbiased truth, but I was saying that various opinions and ideas are always open for us to listen to and express. Whereas in China, entire sections of history seem to have disappeared, and any dissent regarding the accuracy of certain events is not well tolerated. It's not the girl's fault, I had just realized that they do not have the same unfettered access as I to basically any information they desire. And as far as Mao goes, I try to look at his policies from a more fair point of view, and I realize that part of the reason for much of China's success probably lies in some of his reforms; however, talking about many of the negative impacts he had on China is taboo.
