Hey Everyone Sorry I haven't updated in ages. I've been busy working a temporary nanny job. Unfortunately I do have to come back to the USA in July mainly due to financial and visa reasons. Bram and I are going to stay together long distance. Once back in the US I'll be moving to Houston with my parents and little brothers to get a good job. However I've still got a little less than 2 weeks here

So here are more photos from the rest of our drive across Norway. This is after we crossed the fjord and were basically in Western Norway. I also have photos on here from Bergen itself and a couple of Eidfjord from our drive back to Oslo. The trip was great and I had a blast. I hope you enjoy the photos

Annmari borrowed a car from a friend and we made the 8 hour drive across Norway from Oslo to Bergen. I saw so many amazing things including a glacier from quite a distance a fjord snow up to my knees and tons of incredibly tall mountains. Here are some of the photos I took.

Hello Everyone Sorry it's been a while since I wrote or posted anything but there has been a lot going on. I'm still looking for work in Hollandpossibly a nanny position. In other news my friend Annmari gave me the opportunity to visit her in Norway from May 24May 29. It's a beautiful country and we had a blast. I took so many photos so I'll probably use 3 or 4 new postings for it. This entr

Night on the town

Yesterday Bram was off of work and his brother Sjef and friend Robbie came to visit us. We went to Scheveningen first to have some Sangria on the beach at Peukie's It's slogan is the real American taste but it reminds me of the word puke which makes me laugh. After that we had a 3 course dinner at a restaurant near the hotel Bram works at and it was delectable. After that we went back to the H

Just me and my bike

Well today since Bram had to work from 10am to 7pm I decided to take a bunch of photos of where I usually bike. I've started biking to Scheveningen with Bram when he has to work to pass the time and also because I think it's fun. So by going there and back we usually bike around 10km per day. I think the things we pass are pretty cool so I thought I'd post some photos for everyone to see. I also s

Life's a Beach

This whole week the weather has been great. I've been to Scheveningen everyday trying to soak up the sun and quit looking so pasty white. I didn't get a chance to go to Amsterdam Thursday but I'll do that as soon as I can. Anyway here's some photos from the past couple of days....

Beautiful Day in Holland

Today Bram and I decided to see more of the Hague since we live here now. We went to a castle that was built in the 1200's called Binnenhof. It was pretty cool I've got a lot of photos. We went to another castle called Noordeinde sp but it wasn't as interesting because you couldn't really see much of it. We also went to the beach in Scheveningen and had a couple of drinks at a cafe on the beac

Queen's Day

So today was Queen's Day. Bram's family came into town and we decided to go to Scheveningen to celebrate the holiday. That's basically a part of the Hague that's by the sea. We went to a restaurant called Crazy Piano's and it was really fun. They had a lot of pianists from all over the world who can play pretty much any song you request while you eat drink or just chill. After that we went to a

Life in Den Haag

Hey Everybody So here I am in the Hague in our new apartment. So far everything's going pretty okay. We're finally a little settled and staying in one place which is great. The kitchen is a good size and the bathroom is huge. The livingroombedroom is not so big but it's livable. The job hunt is still the major issue. I did however submit my resume to an international jobsearch agency and they se
