hey everyone, yes the title is true..... i am coming home!!!! not sure if i am happy about it, but I am coming home. I leave here on 26th November and fly in on 28th - not really looking forward to the flight, but hey it has to happen. It has really been alot of fun over here, have met some great people, had some awesome times..... considering I was originally only spending about 1 month here, and now it has been 3!!!! Well hello all. but don't worry too much this time, not much to make you jealous of!!! I started my first day at my new job --- yes a sandwich shop, making you guessed it, sandwiches!! All 9 hours a week, but hey its better than nothing. I also did a trial afternoon at a florist, which was good, she is just trying to figure out how she can use my services to get the best out of the no visa situation?? Hopefully something is sorted out, i would love to work in the industry. I am still looking for more hours elsewhere (Jules mates have offered me work - their slave i think at £2/hour!! nice to offer though). First things first, I am so sorry it has been a long time between updates - but internet is not so easy to access when in a campervan, staying in caravan parks. Well, once i finally receovered form Cardiff, i made my way and finally arrived in Paris with my head full of all the negative things people say about the place - they are rude, service is terrible and Paris is dirty!!!! Well what a surprise I got!!! Paris was clean, I met some nice people who helped me decipher the metro, the hotel staff where friendly, and I dont think I met 1 rude frenchman! Oh my god, Micheal Franti is awesome!!! We went to see him in bristol, which was rather weird to say the least (since i always see him in Byron). I don't think i stood still all night!!! Jule's mate Glyn came with us and he had never seen him before - now a convert!!! At the end of the night, Micheal got down into the crowd and was signing autographs, and meeting the people. So in true Kate form i went down -followed by Glyn so he could get the photo - and spoke to the man!!! Yippeee, he is truely an awesome guy, i told him so of course!!! Well I ended up getting a couple of days work from Jules sister which was good to help fund our weekend in Dublin!! Alana and I jetted off on Friday night (our first flight together in 6 years!!! Wierd) after our 'quiet' thursday night before heading to Dublin for Fran's Hen night (one of Alana and Jule's best mates), we actually ended up getting rather pissed with everyone and were rather hungover! My first impressions of Ireland - rain, rain, cute accents, rain, rain, oops beer, rain, beer - you get the picture. We spent Saturday eating, then went to the pub - of course to get out of the rain!!! Ended back at the hostel at about 6.30 to get changed to head back out to you guessed it, drink more beer. Oh how i long to be back in South America! I think I might cry!!! Oh well, it has been decided (by god Knows who??) that I will definently return!!! even by christmas I hope. The South American/Argentinian charm has definently grabbed me by both ears!!! Oh how I long to be an endless traveller, but money unfortunately has a huge part to play in that. But you never know, Kate could end up being a lovely South American Tour guide for you all to come and visit!
