Nakasendo in -Nagano- May 2008 ver.

Old Japanese Dining place
Old time, people ate foods here. Some of Japanese-style hotels have this style dining place. I'm intersted in it. If I have oppotunity, I want visit there. And, I'd like to eat foods there.

My long long journey is going on and on...... It's called Nakasendo's journey. Nakasendo is a very tasteful road. It's road is a old Japanese atmosphere is kept. For example, old houses, landscapes. The cherry blossoms in Tokyo and Nagano

I work near Meguro river. So, I went to here in lunch time. It's very beautiful, isn't it??

I like the cherry blossoms very much. Because it's flower is very beautiful. I was to Kudanshita near Yasukuni shurine, Ueno park, alongside of Meguro river and Nakasendo in Nagano. shirakawqa-go -The World Heritage-

Shirakawa-go
This is a very famous place in Shirakawa-go. Many people took pictures. Gasho style house suits with snow. This is the art of Japanese, I think.

I've been to Shirakawa-go in gifu prefecture for 2days in Feb 2008. It was very good place. It's the beauty of Japan. Shirakawa-go's atmosphere is very good too. And there were heavy snow in this area. So. snow suits with Shirakawa-go. Because, Shirakawa-go is Japanese houses of very special constractuin. This is called Gasho style. Karuizawa in Nakasendo

I 've walked Nakasendo(from Nihonbashi, Tokyo to Sanjo-ohashi, Kyoto) from March 2007. Nakasendo is road the center of Honshu. It's about 533.9kms(by the Nakasendo book). What a long way!!! But, to walk Nakasendo to goal Kyoto is my challenge. I try it. I live in near Tokyo. So my start point is Nihonbashi, Tokyo. From now on, I 'll write about Nakasendo.
