Thanks Lukas!
Thanks for the comments! We love Belize and we highly recommend going to Caye Caulker. The snorkeling tour was well worth it so we definitely recommend that! We went with Ez-boy (or something like that) but there are lots of tour agencies there that offer similar tours. If you have time (and don't mind splurging a little), we took a 3 day sailing cruise from Caye Caulker to Placencia and absolutely loved that also. We went with Raggamuffin tours for that. We love our camera! It's a Canon G10 and all of our non-underwater pictures were taken with it. Unfortunately, we don't have a waterproof case for the camera so we bought a disposible Kodak underwater camera, which can be found almost in any shop on Caye Caulker. Hope this helps and have an awesome in Belize! :)

Salar tour
We both don't remember the name of the agency...sorry! It was a last minute thing. However, it was around 100USD per person. That is on the high end. We thought we were paying extra for an "English guide" who turned out not speaking any English! A lot of other tours promise the English guide as well and don't follow through. All the tours are pretty much identical, so use cost as a the primary decision factor.

That sucks to hear that your pack was stolen, Miko! I hate how tourists are seen as ideal targets for some, even though tourism helps their economy. Those experiments at the equator sounded really cool though. :)

Ancient City
Hello Rumiko and Justin: What a beatuiful city old buildings nestled in beautiful countryside. Your travels certainly bring to home that there are many beautiful places in the world with old charm. From the discriptions and pictures in your blogs Victoria is rather bla!!! Hope all is well. Love always, Mum and Dad

Machu Picchu
Hello Rumiko and Justin: I particularly like this place. The mountain scenery is beautiful and certainly as in many of the places you have visited the old buildings blend in to the scenery. Nice cat obviously very fond of Justin. Love always and once again be carefull. Dad

Uros Islands
Hello Rumiko and Juistin: Exciting adventure once again. Especially the border crossing and the "money" to be paid by the UK (United Kingdom) to the border guards. It seems that corruption takes on many forms. Border crossings one thing then on a bigger and grancer scale large banks that require billions of dollars in bailouts. Puts into perspective!! The Uros Islands are fascinating. I belive that the boats are made of reeds. The skill required is ancient. I watched a program a while ago not the Uros Islands but the geography seems from your pictures similar and the natives actually built up the islands they live on from reeds and not only are the boats constructed from reeds but also their homes. As always enjoying immensley your blogs albeit diary. Love always, Dad

Beach
Hello Rumiko and Justin: The beach looks nice but it seems rather sparce. Anyhow a good place to rest. I seems to me that you are both getting experts on "bus riding". At least the weather is warm here it is wet, though mild, with rain. Went for a short motor scooter ride today only about 1/2 hour as I was getting cold. So when you are both enjoying the sun and warm weather give a thought to me on my motor scooter in the cold. Ha Ha!! Dad

Mining
Hello Rumiko and Justin: Certainly seems as though the mining experience was "deep" though interesing. It is certainly disappointing about Rumiko's back pack it could happen anywhere. Though this incident is most disappointing on balance from you blog and emails certainly the majority if not all with one exception have been kind and considerate. Just finished my cup of tea and reading the blog and as they say "a picture is worth a thousand words". Take care both of you. Dad

Hello from Cusco
That is a very interesting question that Rumi and I have keep asking each other. We both agree that Easter Island has been the most special so far, but we have about 10 close seconds! We are really enjoying Peru - it's somewhere we should have allocated more time. Hope all is well in Victoria. See you soon. Take care, Justin

Brasilia
Hello Rumiko and Justin: I was very pleased that you have sent a very good blog on Brasilia and pictures. A completely modern city the picture of the Saturn Museum was particularly interesting reminding one of a flying saucer. The last pictures particularly of you both in the Don Bosco are really great. You are both certainly gathering many pictures to remind you in later days of your fantastic journey. One question so far. Of all the places you have visited if you were to visit only one place which would it be. Love always, Dad
