I know what you mean... it does look kind of dingy - but it wasn't quite as bad as it looks in the photos. High contrast meant that either the town or the sky went a bit dark/bright... I tried to get a compromise between the two... but those areas are like that - everything very close together, lots of stone and tiled rooves... But the Minster more than makes up for the ungraceful parts of town! |

I did get a pic of Alice's grave, but it's not hugely interesing - just a bunch of overgrown flowering plants and a wee plaque. Not the prettiest grave ever - just notable. |
