Joyce, I love how you embrace all that life has to offer and you never stop learning, exploring and pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone. You are my inspiration, and my mentor! -Laura

Sunday in Sammamish
Hey Joycee.. A beautiful day here today as the sky was in competition with your azure blue in bolivia...Bill and I went to practice our golf games in Redmond at Willows. We both bought new clubs for our birthdays and are trying to see the benefit of our purchases. Ups and downs that's for sure but fun nontheless...Love to hear about your day withyour head swimming in Spanish. You will be quite the Spanish language Queen when you return. I am impressed with your effort and something I would like also. I'm not sure I have the knack for speaking as I always did well with reading in Sapnish but had know idea what it all meant. I know some key words, enough to be dangerous. Keep up the good work and enjoy the local cuisine. any guinea pig there??? Big hugs, Meliss

interesting idea
Hello! You have a great idea to collect all of the voluntourism projects out there and create a resource. I'd love to talk with you about this. I am also based in Seattle and am the founder of SalaamGarage, a citizen journalist organization which connects citizen journalists and international NGOs and local non-profits. Not quite voluntourism. It would be great to be a part of your research. If you are interested, have a look at the site: http://www.salaamgarage.com and if you wish, give me a call. It would be great to connect and hear about your project some more. All the best, Amanda Koster 206-286-9707

Thanks for the update!
As expected, you've brought back fond memories of Sucre and Bolivia, making me wish I were there. Have you checked out the beautiful Supreme Court building yet?
