Incredible pictures but what heat Those pictures are gorgeous! I particularly like the ones of the Sea of Galilee through the palm trees. It looks like a very beautiful area, and the old city of Tiberias looks lovely.
It must have been very neat to walk through the ruins at Capernaum and to see where things described in the gospels happened.
jorman in jordan! lovely photos as always. you do a great job of recapping all your adventures! i like the cosmic alliance of jordan in jordan as well (obv.)
much love!
Cool but whats with the cloudy? J you are so cool - but what do you mean about the first cloudy day since England?? It never rains there you know that...see you very soon!
Ps what size rain jacket should I purchase?
I had a similar experience when I first saw the Tiber to when you first saw the Jordan. The Tiber is a scummy, green, body of water that I tempted to describe as being grey, green and greasy, though not set about with fever trees. the Tiber was definitely wider than the Jordan looks in your picture though.
fun in the sun That sounds soo awesome. I'm crazy jealous and wish i could be with you but this is the nest best thing. so thanks for writing. i miss u and can't wait to see u.
How Much Ice Cream Can One Person Eat? Seems like you are spending a lot of time eating ice cream (though I have to confess that I'm still jealous of the choclate/lemon one). Sounds fun. Looking forward to seeing more pictures.
looks nice! Beach looks beautiful! I am also jealous of the ice cream and waffles. While I was eating peanut butter sandwiches and getting eaten by bugs, you were living it up! Hope you find your camera cord soon!
Wow! What a great shot! The way the light is coming in through the occulus looks very like the way the light fell in the rotunda of the Pantheon. Beautiful.
when i visited the rock he was crucified (or the slab he was laid on? i can't remember which) there was a woman with a stack of photos of jesus and mary rubbing them on the rock. i assume in order to sell them and make them holier. it was strange. also i was ten and probably only half understood what we were seeing.
glad you could appreciate it fully, and also nerdfully.
OH MY GOD. The food! That ice cream looks awesome. Mira got an ice cream maker for her birthday so I am curious as to whether the lemon mint is more lemony or minty. Please inform me for ice cream making purposes.
I love the pictures of the shuq. It's funny, even though I copied the spelling of that from your picture, I feel like I'm spelling it wrong. And that I have now written some awful swear word.
WRITE MOAR or START A TUMBLR.
Great Blog Loved the pictures and how happy you look. Sympathize with weary time-lag. Question: What is the Tiny Perfect Door?
Miss you and love you, and love hearing from you.
Thank you!
Grandma
Wow (and thk god u r safe) Wow that sounds like a long trip. I'm glad you got to see London a bit. I'm very jealous remembering back to our time there and how amazing London is. I would love to go back. You brief introduction to Jerusalem sounds very cool and very surreal. I can't wait to see more pictures and here more about your life there. We all miss you and glad u r safe and soundly in J-town.
