G'day! I'm a 24 year old Australian. Leaving for Asia early next year and hopefully making my way round the world! Lol. Plenty more to organise and do yet :) Going round the world on my own (Yikes!)

I have a rough idea of where i want to go but am very open and flexible once i get there. I have a few bills and a lot of saving to do first but am hoping to get started in January next year, the only restriction i have is that i want to be in Sweden in June 2010, my good friends live there and we made a pact that i'd be there for "Midsummer".

So ideally i'll take six months through Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam) then onto China & Japan and if all falls into place head for Sweden in June. Yay! I'm thinking six months without working and i'll be flat broke so after Sweden i'll head straight for London and get a job! Haha. I'd like to base myself in London for a year, give or take, and check out Europe from there.

Afterwards i'll head for New York baby! Haha, and travel the US from there before heading down to Brazil. These plans are so very subject to change it's ridiculous! Lol. Any advice, tips, travel buddies are most welcome :)

Checked out Parliament House the over day too. It's kinda wierd living here for a couple of years and not actually going to see the Parliament House but i'm sure there's millions of people here who can't say they've been. It was cool to soak up all the history as well. [View Full Entry]

Decided to check out the Botanical Gardens today. Have been there for various things once or twice before but thought i'd actually spend a fair bit of time there and see what was really happening. I did the rainforest walk and strolled around the gardens today and am going back tomorrow for a formal walking tour and to check out Old Government House, cant wait!! [View Full Entry]
