well we have finally left Memphis and are quite sad about it...i touched on this in my last entry but just re-iterate....Memphis is a great place to go and a place where you could stay for a long time without ever getting bored...we spent the last few nights doing more of the same..drinking beer from a pub with 70 beers on tap (70! just on tap)..playing pool and listening to fantastic music and eating well...reasonable food...i can safely say i will be back in memphis...soon.. has any one heard of the ten tenors?? they played at the Brisbane vs Port Adelaide [View Full Entry]

well we have been to nashville and i can safely say that we are no closer to understanding what the hell shawn mullins meant when he sang "it's like nashville with a tan"...no idea what he is talking about.....i can report that its a ripper little town....country music everywhere...we drove all the way from hot springs arkansas, past memphis to nashville...a long way...we have now handed the car back and it was very sad...we travelled just under 1000miles in it and it felt like the 3rd member of the group...and its less smelly than kristian. hot springs was great..its where bill [View Full Entry]

we arrived into dallas/fort worth last night....a town made famous by three things....JFK being shot, the TV show "Dallas" and of course....kelly clarkson :) vegas was great...i actually wasnt well for the last few days...just a cold or something maybe to much beer but it was still definitely an experience..one morning we woke to 2 guys being arrested right in front of our room...there was 4 police officers and the two guys had to put there hands on the bonnet just just in the tv show "cops"...we thought this was pretty good until only a few hours later three streets aways [View Full Entry]

well we are in las vegas now....we spent 6 hours in the back of a tiny honda civic with our new mates kyle and katie.....it wasn't too uncomfortable for us with one massive back pack and an esky.....the landscape was amazing, i mean its kinda nothin just desert and bare mountains but it still is quite amazing... we were very sad to leave banana bungalow....we met some great people there from all around the globe.....san diego is a naval base so there were a few sailors...err..drunken sailors as the case was.... we have been in vegas for a day and have [View Full Entry]
