Mid 50s old hippie living in Texas. Travel with my sife of almost 35 yrs who can put up with me. We love latin america and the caribbean and mostly travel to satisfy my NEED to DIVE. Wife doesn't dive but she loves to snorkle and birdwatch so there's almost always plenty for her to do. We both love nature, seeing different animals and plantlife is a big part of any vacation for us. We're a bit past hitchiking and hostels and prefer more expensive lodging, if for now other reason than, we can't get off work for long vacations so we can spend more to travel. A good vacation for us is 2 weeks...a great one is 3 weeks. I want to be a european when I grow.....they're all like 3 months 4 months..Bad jealous there.We're doing 15 days in Costa Rica in Jamuary 09, so that'll be my first adventure in blogging.
