this had to be my favorite stop in all of myanmar.no foreigners..everyone stared at u.no one wanted to accept my money and even my moto driver did not want me to pay for anything.this is the real deal.i had a good laugh when i arrived by bus and the window was open.someone flew through the open window into the bus and yelled taxi.i took alot of photos of the moto driver and gave them to him as a gift.I must say that myanmar is the safest country to travel to...i absolutly love it... I really like yangon.i go to the different townships and check out the nice neighbourhoods.i sponsor a fmily and with them it gets me into peoples homes, where i can get some photos.when in yangon i stay at motherland2.it is in a quiet neighbourhood and it was 7$ a night single which includes breakfast and airport pick up and drop off.my friend..pic 66...took me to a palm farm about 2 hours outside of yangon and his friends enjoyed fried rat which i did not partake in. i went to pathein and chaungtha beach for a week.not ngwesaung beach after i was told the latter was too commercial.the real burmese beach where the burmese go is chaungtha.I stayed at the dreamlight hotel.brand new and at 4$ a night i could not refuse.see photos included.i had the oppurtunity to play soccer on the beach and went to the north part of the beach and watch the fisherman.perfect weather everyday.my next stop was pathein..a city full of life with very few foreigners.pathein was off limits in 2008 because of nargis but is now open.i stayes at tan tan ta hotel.5$ [View Full Entry]
