We left early in the morning for the drive about 4 hours. This was a short afternoon trip but still interesting. The town is about an hour from Dar as the locals refer to the city. There is a lot of history within the town and they have many tours to take. We went to the ruins which is where slaves had been kept before they were shipped elsewhere. I met Abu's family and have had several meals there. The food is delicious chakula ni kitamu sana. As you can see the kids have been trying to help me with swahili.
