Not a whole lot to report today - mostly a travel day. Got up around 8 and headed to St Anthonys church in Padua since i had stayed in a hotel right across the street for 3 nights nad hadnt been in there yet. there was a service going on so i just kidna crept around the back for a peek. yet another huge, beautiful basilica. its happened - i am officially churched out. been in dozens and dozens in teh last month and i dont even really take notice any more! went for the 7€ buffet breakfast at the hotel [View Full Entry]

early night last night - went back to the hotel, and got in the shower with my clothes on so i could wash them (it actually works pretty well, don't mock me, its cheaper than going to the laundromat! thats like 7 bucks a load here, and i only needed a few clean pairs of undies to get me through the next week hahah anyhow, thought the hotel was gonna be nice adn quiet since its a churchy-type place. however there is no carpet all tiles and marble so when someone breaths it echos through the whole place. not to mention [View Full Entry]

well not much to say today, but i like to update every day so everyone knows i'm still alive. got up in plenty of time this morning to catch my train at 931 (not 930, 931) from munich to verona, then switch to another to padova. the train was crowded and since i booked kinda last minute i got stuck in a middle seat in a 6 seater compartment. reasonably comfortable though, and the lady in the window seat next to me was passed out half the ride leaning the other way so it wasn't too bad. beautiful scenery though, snowy [View Full Entry]

well after spending way too much time on the internet last night, i stopped into mcdonalds to trz out this bacon rosti burger i keep seeing advertisements for. itw as actuallz reallz good. quarter pounder patty with some yellow sauce, bacon and a hashbrown pattz on a cheese and bacon bun. yum! and sitting in a warm place, with a free toilet = good times! haha so finallz it was 1000 so i headed up to the train station to chill out before mz train. i got a litlte cold when i got there so i went to put on mz [View Full Entry]

Well after an earlz night last night (bed around 830) i was more than refreshed when i got up at 830 this morning haha cleaned up, packed up and headed down to the bus station to see about getting the bus into Ljubljana (lyoob-lyah-nah, j's=y's around here). as luck would have it as i approach the station the bus to the citz pulls up right next to me. 5 bucks for a 45 minute ride and i'm off! arrived at the bus station which is convenientlz located next door to the train station. thez have paz lockers there so i dropped [View Full Entry]

Well where did I leave off... oh yes went out for some cake after the internet last time. I had a kiwi/banana/something red cake, which was white with white frosting. mmmmm very good. jeff had a snowball like thing but it looked awfully dense. then we headed off to bed for our last night in Bosnia.
