We start an Indian journey, from the lands of the island of Madagascar eastbound to the French Reunion, the ancient Bourbon Isle and the old pirates shelters. Then a break in paradise: the Maldives visited by Arab traders and travellers as Ibn Battûta; to finally dock in Sri Lanka, the old Serendib, the old Ceylon, blessed by the Gods and damned by the men. Hope enjoy the tales and histories that are going to come soon.
Before we made a quick glance from South to North America in just nine short stops. The first one going back to Argentina in 1987 where Tango was mixed up with an endless student party. Following after to the neighbour city of Montevideo where we can try to find out Onetti urban landscapes thru his novels characters. Then up to the Machu Picchu highs watching out for the black & white reminds of Hiram Bingham. In Mexico we dive until the years Spaniards didn't even dream in a New World, neither did Mexicas, Mixtecas and other peoples. Then a stop over to sip a ti’punch in the Antilles, before to follow up to a bigger Island: Cuba. Next stop in the States, the San Francisco of beatniks and hippies. To end on a snow-covered Boston where Paul Revere's shadow is cast on the entire city, a city that was itself enclosed in a pub: Cheers!.
Later we went to North Africa. From Morocco to Turkey and to the Middle East. Between Fantasy and Miniatures. Between revenge and myths. The Carthage crushed by Rome and the deification of a pharaoh. On boards that provided justice and a friendly look in the Marmara Sea. From tea in the desert up to a beer where once was the Abbasid court.
