I love to travel, although I have limited resource so spending is the very last option. However, perseverance thus pays off as I usually managed to get a hold of budget airfares at the least expected.....
My motto in travelling.....live as it will be your last and learn as if you were to live forever.....! Happy travelling....

With just a map and a guide book, me and my wife were off to South Korea. This will be the first time that we will be traveling without T n Z, and the sadness is killing us. Even was considering to just ditch the trip and go back home.....but eventually we push through.... Upon arrival, we were immidiately greeted with the very cool breeze. And for people from the tropics, this is something exciting until we stepped out of the airport....man was it freezing!! I have to open our luggage without caring where I am, but I need to get to our jackets, or there will be two frozen Filipinos on the headline tomorrow. After some negotiations with the cold weather, and trying to figure how to get to our hostel, we found ourselves in ... read more
Its been a while since my last post so I'll try to make it up.... Went to Singapore last Apr with my family for a little R n R. It was actually 3 months waiting period as the airline tickets were both sometime in Janaury to which we've managed to get it at a knock off bargain price of 350 usd...a two way ticket for the four of us!!! we arrived about 1400 hrs to which hunger struck us big time as the budget airfare doesn't offer free food, and the only thing they have on the menu is some instant noodles and colas......hey its a budget airline so I beleive it is all good right? After a late lunch, we proceed to our hotel in Arab street called the Landmark to which T n Z ... read more
Hi guys, just got back last night from an exhausting trip. You should see our Z. He is like the energizer bunny.....he keeps going...and going....and going!!! Anyways, we took the morning flight out of Manila last 22nd Nov via Cebu Pacific. I thought we had a bargain with our tickets, until the check-in counter asked us to pay our travel tax of about 32 USD (phoowey!!) each. It was a disaster as we already spent 120++ USD even prior to us leaving the country. Prior to touching down HK, my eldest THEA, showed signs of cough and colds and was having a terrible headache. Good thing we've managed to clear immigration, even if the immigration officer is having second looks at my daughter(whew!!). At the arrival hall, we've met with our agent who took us to ... read more
Greetings fellow travelbloggers....after a long absence in the scene, here is another entry of my family's recent vacation in the beautiful island of Boracay.... First things first though, we never thought that we will push through because of the typhoon last Saturday morning. When the heavens cleared up, we decided to head to the airport to have our ticket rebooked only to be surprised that the flight is a go.....good thing is that we've decided to bring our stuff in the car. After checking in, it was a long, painful and agonizing wait for our flight. Zeann became restless and has been running around the lounge until settling into my arms to have his siesta. Her sister on the other hand started to hear rumbles in her tummy...there I realize that it was 10 am when ... read more
Hi fellow bloggers, I know, its been 1 whole year since my last post so I got to make up. Anyways, I was again back in HK with my family last November for our anual HK trip. It was pretty cold than the usual, but still was a blast. DAY 1: We arrive HK airport after a 2 hr flight from Manila, and was fetched by my Aunt (who was waiting for about 3 hours as our flight was delayed, damn!!) as we are not travelling on a package tour this time (to minimize our expense, and maximize our time....Translation: to tolerate our lazyness...). After some greetings, we proceed to the terminus to take the 629 bus to their area in Lai Chi Kok called the Banyan Garden. Talk about posh condominium, this has everything...from a ... read more
Hi guys, I just want to share to you our vacation this past weekend. 0800 in the morning, we depart from our house to the domestic airport to catch our 1030 flight to Kalibo via Cebu Pacific. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed for a long 1 hour. After an endless hide and seek game with my daughter (and countless numbers of cigars ....) we departed Manila at 1140...we then arrived Kalibo airport at 1210. Here, we managed to catch the shuttle van from the airport to the jetty port of Caticlan which is by the way a loooonnnngggg 2 hour ride. Fortunately for us, we managed to get a fifty peso discount ($1.00) per pax, which is great (I think my knowledge of the local dialect proved to be very handy on this trip..). Upon reaching ... read more
After another round of walking and sight-seeing we returned to our hotel for some brief rest. We had some Mickey pancakes with raspberries as filling and boy oh boy it blew me out of my sit. Then, we rendezvous with GOOFY at the lobby where we had some photo shoot before heading back to the park. Can't wait to be back soon........ read more
