Well guys (oh god I'm turning into a yank), I'm sat on the hotel computer and we leave to take our car back soon then we're off to get our flight which is at 4.30pm back to London!!! Eeeek. Well we managed to escape Rarotonga and got to LA safe and sound yesterday!!! Having a brill time so far, picked up our car, we were told we could choose any car on a certain row so we picked a green jeep which is pretty cool!! We don't stand out here though as 80% of people have a 4x4, the others have porshes/ferraris (I've never seen so many ferraris), Beemers, Bentleys, Corvettes...you name it!! Hey guys, Thanks for your comments and messages, it's always nice to know people back home are thinkin of us!! Really appreciate it. Anywayy, two days ago we were in town and bumped into the lady who's been helping us at the New Zealand Commission...we said hi and she asked us if we'd picked up our brand spanking new passports as they'd arrived!! Well, there has been some progress since I last wrote...basically due to an angry e-mail from my Dad which our landlord told me went to the primeminister?!, Nick and I going on tv, shouting in the police station and ranting to anybody who listened...the police ended up taking us seriously. We had to make a new report and a statement, as before they made a report our passports had been burned in the fire (easier for them) instead of saying they were actually STOLEN, the case has been in the papers most days and the crime was moved to different department [View Full Entry]

I would be telling you about the fantastoc diving we did on Sunday, or the cool day we had just chilling out on the beach on Monday....but unfortunately all that has been overwhelmed by the events that occured on Sunday night.... Hey everyone!! Well we had a great last few days in NZ. Nick managed to get a days skiing in so he had funwith that. I was a bit terrified driving upto the ski resort though- the road was icy, windy and on the edge of a mountain. Arghh, looking over the edge was a steep drop. Not good!! We had to put snowchains on the camper but it was still sliding around a bit, eeek!!! Well we're nearing the end of our trip- can't believe we have been away for over FIVE months!!! In some ways seems ages since I seen everyone etc, but in other ways it has flew by so quickly. Anyway, sooo we're now in Christchurch. Haven't got long on net, so speedy typing it is...prepare for even more typos than usual!! Well we're loving the South island- scenery is lovely- lots of greenery with mountains in background. I guess you can picture it if you've seen lord of the rings...which I haven't, but makes me wanna watch it. Erm yeah anyway, our camper is going well!! Well we left the family a few days back in Hamilton, really enjoyed our stay with them!! We didn't really do much while we were there, visited caves, had one day at some farmers show (oooh arrrr), some of it was cool - the animals for sale and the stalls- I bought some rather nice fudge yum!! But other stuff e.g. displays of various farming machinery wasn't exactly my cuppa tea!!! There was other stuff going on, like some guy with a chainsaw making sculptures out of a log! Yay, we're in New Zealand!!! And it isn't raining! It's actually quite clear outside...but very cold. But I shall rewind to where I left you guys before and update you on what we've been upto...
