Had a good run Sorry to hear about the rain but it sounds like you've had a good run so far with the weather. Maybe you should head south ... I hear that Faro is meant to be nice. Enjoy your final days. Love David xx
How are those feet ! All sounds so exotic and amazing ,even the black sand and ugly towers .Sounds like your making wonderful memories there and every where . Thanks for the birthday greetings ,Russ reckons Scottie owes him a bottle of scotch ! He is very bloody cheeky , I'm sure Scottie will hear all about it. Wish Em a happy birthday from all of us Clifford s, wish I could be there. The weather is still very erratic here a hint of summer one day then snow on the mountains the next. Should have sorted it out by the time you get home. Wish you many more amazing times on your travels and look forward to the party when you get back ,you may be needing a foot massage, see you later lots of love jules x x o o
Hi there from the Sweets Hi Jane. i hope you are having a wonderful time. We are all Ok here. How is the weather over there? We had 29 on yesterday and 18 today, melbourne weather, never boring. Caught up with Melanie and Jacinta last night and they told me about this site. it is a great idea. I think we have decided to go to the tennis on Monday and Tuesday this time. I will let you know when you return. Still loving the grand final result athough I am not talking about to many people who are not Collingwood supporters. Very exciting for us. Well I am out of things to say (unbelieveable i know) Enjoy yourselves. See you when you get home. Chrisitne.
Hi Jane, sorry I have not sent a comment earlier. Have really enjoyed reading your blog and it has brought back some great memories of our trip to Paris and Italy. I think I should have gone on holiday with Em and you should have gone with Hollie as I was not able to convince Hollie to keep going up the towers to check the view. We also walked to the top of Capris but only because we didn't realise that you could get the funicular. Have a great time. Look forward to seeing your photos when you get back.

happysnapper Hi Jane, wow you have been busy, sounds brilliant. Can't wait to see your photos, (I don't know about 1000, ever heard of deleting???) Where are you off to next? Weather here is great at the moment, 29 today, making the most of it. Your pants must have shrunk, I've heard that happens alot when you travel. Catch you soon, Jacinta
On the train Thanks for your random comment, all comments appreciated. Where are you from? America, we have met alot of people from there studying here. We are going to Grenada as we have heard it's great there. What should'nt we miss there?
Sandermans are great Hi Jane and Em,
Aren't those Sanderman tours excellent, I did them in Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam and in all 3 cases the guides were great.
I'm sorry I haven't been commenting on here for a while, I've been too busy including my own rushed 1 week trip to the UK as well as two Grand Finals in Melbourne (sob). I have been reading all your entries though and enjoying them greatly. I hope you enjoy Seville which is on my list of must see places. Where do you plan on being for Em's birthday?
Love David
Suggestion I know this is super random, but I was just searching for other blogs in my area on a whim. You should check out Granada while you're in the south of Spain. I'm studying abroad here and its absolutely beautiful. Just a thought, enjoys your travels.
Enjoying the blog Hi Jane, I love reading your blog and learning about your travel adventures. You might be able to add some extra spark to your SOSE extras now that you've visited Pompei. I'd love to hear more when you return. Jack is so impressed about your visit to the surf beach at San Sebastian. Back here, we are into the full swing of Year 12 end of year stress. Last class next Thursday (Bec can't believe it). Jonny Miller is top dog now. Felix, Michael Mann and Geoff Seletto are the AP's. A number of teachers have been asking about you and I will certainly let the art teachers know that you have been doing some amazing PD in the art galleries over there. Keep the blogs coming. Love Kerrie. (P.S. you are far toooo young to have a 25 y.o. son)
Roma Hi Jane, Venice is a beautiful city, it sounds like you're having a great time. We are home again, holy shit, what about Hong Kong, I've never seen so many high-rise and people, but it was great. Saw Sue and Stu there, they should have arrived in Rome, just. Do you have there address there, it will be good if you could catch up with them. Had a few drinks last night with Melanie, bit seedy !!!!! and I'm about to watch the Grand Final, again. Kelvin and the boys have gone to the game. When is Paul due back? It's magnificent here today 24' and sunny, come on summer!!! Have a ball, Jacinta x
hi seems you liked venice dear,it sounds like it was hightide .have seen that ontv a couple of times on the news this year ,plus it has been full moon.sounds funny about waiters at restaruants.i agree about dinner by yourself .it can be a bit quiet, and here you get looks from other people as if you are a wierdo.tuscany and rome will be another adventure,so emily has made it back from germany then.did she win any drinking competitions.did boyfriend go also,.so you still have a long time to go on your holiday, ihave 12 more days to go ,still at same hotel it great going to phi phi soon probably stay one night.i have been happy to just chill out at patong.will go and see pottotnicks anthony and evette soon they are at kata
So jealous Ahhh Venice - certainly one of my favourite cities in the world. When I was there I read about the high water arrangements. That must have been weird.
Enjoy Rome - also wonderful, the Vatican museum is amazing but avoid the crowds (may not be so bad this time of year) and go in the afternoon. xx
Your yummy holiday Great to hear you are having so much fun. I must remember to read your blog after eating in future, all that glorious Italian food makes my mouth water. There's an idea for a cookbook titled, "Jane Eats her way through Europe!!!" By now you probably know the grand final was a draw. Bec and Jess are Saints supporters (very frustrated ones!) Jessica's classic comment at the end of the game was, "Oh no, all that supporting! How exhausing!" Say hello to Em for me and ENJOY. Love Kerrie.
Ah Paris Hey Jane, thanks so much for looking after Tyler so well. I know she was so happy to see you and get a 'mum hug' by proxy. I would have loved for the four of us to be in Paris together, would have revelled in sharing that experience with my daughter, her best friend in the world and her gorgeous mum and friend of mine...maybe next time in Coco Chanel's rooms??
Love the blog...feel like we're all travelling vicariously with you.
Stay safe and keep smiling
xx
