well the trip to Sri Lanka is still on. The group of eight students who I am traveling with have decided unanimously to go forward. I am imagining we will now be focused more on relief work than fun. i cannot say that i am sad about that, in fact i feel really good about helping. we are leaving in four days!!!!!!!!!! I am leaving for Sri Lanka in eight weeks. I went to get my new passport today and have spent most of the morning explaining to my Mom how completely safe this trip will be, but of course I tell her that about every hare-brained idea I have. I can't wait to leave. [View Full Entry]
