Olongapo: Bits and pieces Olongapo is derived from "Ulo ng Apo", which means head of the chieftain. You will be overwhelmed by the slogan welcoming you in bold letters written on the wall or along the highway, which says " Fighting for Excellence" and "Bawal ang tamad sa Olongapo." You will be fascinated by the active night life of the people, where the nights are like days and the days are like night. You will be enliven by the colorful jeepneys and tricycle which represent the transportation system of Olongapo City. You will know that people just call Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority as the gate, "loob", Subic which later on confuse you with Subic town. You will be annoyed with those taxi barkers, who follows and offer you to ride their taxi. Plus the taxi, they're ... read more

As I recall it, we strode to the North without fear of facing the cruel typhoon Undoy. May it be face to face with the typhoon's rage, we didn't blink an eye.We just thought of getting there and have fun! Getting to Laoag from Olongapo city is quite hard. So, to make our trip worthwhile and justify the title conquering the North, we first set our foot to Baguio city which is 8 hours away by bus. Phew, what a long trip that was. From Baguio, we took our time to stroll around session road since it is at its best during the night, showering the glimmering light which make it more like a Christmas place. And then, we took the Partas Bus, night trip. It is utmost 5-hour trip. Which led us to Laoag at ... read more

Perhaps life is like a journey where everyone moves on forward and not backward. Perhaps life is like a story where every pages is filled with various experiences which begins, continues and comes to an end. Perhaps life is like a song where every melody speaks of the rythm of the universe. I have asked my self over and over again, Where am I now? Of course, these involves major decision like schooling, family matters, love life, health, relationship, self-esteem, learning, etc. ... read more

My first winter experience January 16th marked a big change in my career and even my environment. I arrived in Incheon Airport at that day with the first taste of the terrible winter cold. With every foorstep I take, I felt overwhelmed and excited. I didn't really know what was at stake for me at that time but I was confident enough to fill upthe chapters of life with some unique, new and interesting pages of meaningful experiences. I knew that I was about to experience both ends of the rope. Both the good and bad of the journey. But I already conditioned myself to win over the bad things and indulge and enjoy every good things.
