My mom was just on holiday in Portugal and met with a friend who lives in Praia da Luz. My mom was curious to know the opinion of this friend on the Maddy case. It wasn't what I expected. This woman didn't have anything good to say. In fact, this friend has a friend who actually lives directly above the villa where the McCann's stayed. She said that the parents went out EVERY night and sometimes much farther away than the Tapas bar. She said that the children cried a lot and that Maddy was a difficult child. But hey people, NO caring parent would leave their 2 yrs old twins and 4 yrs old toddler all ALONE in a hotel room with open (unlcocked) doors, or would? And then go dining outside. Or would? There is no real explanation to this behaviour for the parents. They are highly educated docs who should UNDERSTAND better than anyone. Maddy is definitely NOT in Morocco, hey don't be fool... All too far fetched and unrealistic explanation. The only explanation for us is to believe, unfortunately, is that the parents have something to HIDE right now. The question: was it the mother or both parents who killed Maddy?? I sincerely hope these parents will get the highest possible and harshest punishment in a cold stony British prison, preferable locked in heavy iron chains. Maddy, R.I.P. |

The mother of this child has had four menses (periods of bleeding) since her child went missing - sitting in the hotel room, in the rented car, as well, and after starting my own period this morning while traveling after reading this accusation it DAWNED ON ME - these people seem to have MISSED THIS IDEA - MOTHERS BLEED and when traveling, you bleed and also run out of pads as well and use toilet paper, which isn't very good, and leaks through a lot. They supposedly located "Maddies " in a car (carseat) RENTED 2 some odd days AFTER she went missing. These were just % sniffing hounds" not "MAddy sniffing hounds", and this could be a travesty times two because there is no such thing as "Maddy sniffing hounds". Its just human and women bleed all the time - from the mother since she has been travelling, a total of 20 plus days while traveling....to anyone using the car. This was found more than three weeks later, but Maddy's mother had bled by then for at least five days...sitting on seats of cars and motels and everywhere else, while frail and upset, traveling. Think about it and email it to the British Press everybody, please. |

Long ago when I saw they had started a foundation I really had the gut feeling they had this planned from the start. Now I think the most likely thing is_ 1. They went back to the appartment and found their child dead. Was an accident probably she swallowed something bad. 2. They knew they were in trouble so they had to have a plan. 3. They moved the body without anyone noticing and got rid of her. Since they are experienced in medical affairs they probably know how to dispose of a body better than most people plus they were skilled enough to handle this type of thing and keep a certain emotional detachment which is required in medical profession. 4. They figured ok now we must say she was kidnapped. 5. The newspapers picked it up and somewhere the idea came up of asking for donations to help find dead maddie. 6. They received tons of money and were so thrilled it all worked out so perfectly in their favour they even started a new job, a foundation and hired a manager!!!!!! Come on.. they had clear mind to start up a foundation, hire managers, etc right after their kid was gone? I don't know but just sounds like something you plan long before you actually do. Now the cons: 1. If they knew their kid was dead, they'd probably had gone back to UK to their jobs unless they started receiving tons of cash in donations before their time-to-get-back ended. So I'd find out what plans they had to go back to UK if there were any, near the end of their holidays. All communications between them and their bosses should show their intent to go back or not and what was on their mind at the time. If I was on the case, I would have it figured out long ago without needing dogs to do it. I'd probably guess where they put the body. Ask a few doctors what they would do if they had to dispose of a dead kid body near that location. Show them a map and nearby places, rivers, cemiteries, etc. ;-) Come on police you can do it! I live in the U.S. and I have been captivated by this Madeleine story since it broke. There isn't much coverage over here. If it had happened over here, she would have been found already. I totally believe that the Portugese police are incompetent at best, and corrupt at worst. What an awful mess they have on their hands. I just started reading some of the hoax theories going around. I think that people just want information. I check hundreds of times every day, and nothing new. I really don't care about the publicity campaign, I care about finding their daughter. She is the one constant throughout this whole ordeal. She is innocent. She did not ask to be left home alone. She was asleep when some pervert decided that she should be his. She deserves to come home to her family. I admit, I would never leave my children alone, but they did. No point in blaming them, I'm sure they are in their very own Hell over that horrible decision. I guess I am just writing to let you know that I admire your decision to go to the Algarve, and try to see what is REALLY going on. I, too, wish I could do more to find her. I know this because I too have gone onto various news blogs, contacted the UK Police and Uk Government myself and have left no-one uncertain as to the possiblility that this matter could quite easily be solved. But to be just- Madeleine is not the only missing child and no one has received as much attention as she did. And it's not uncommon for doctors not to be preoccupied with the safety and health of their own family. I agree with you in many respects. For instance why are so many regions in the world (deliberately as it seems) left out of the picture. A Portuguese police officer was reported to have said: "She is in North Africa. They like blond people over there." So why is there no cooperation with the Moroccan police or why has nobody tried to make an appeal to the King of Morocco? When it comes to Albania, there is a lot of child trafficking going on in Albania. There are definitely enough cute Albanian children to suit anybody's taste, so no need to drag her around Europe to sell her in Albania, where there are plenty of children and no working police force.
