Christmas things that I enjoy include going to Massey Hall in Toronto and joining a 3000 voice choir for Handel's Messiah. Yes, the whole audience is the choir, soloists and musicians are on stage and the conductor conducts it all. Dundurn Castle in Hamilton has a tour.... lots of events in which the important thing is who you share the experiences with. A time of light and love - that's my kind of Chistmas. May love fill your heart and light lead your way, Mel ! Love, Sharon |

| 10th October 2006 madmommy | I miss Sarajevo - From: ... But, we were in Bosnia... Your photos are beautiful, and remind me so poignantly of what I miss about Bosnia. It is so wonderful to see the "Ferdinand" bridge finished...when I was there in 2003 it was being renovated, so the sensation wasn't as strong. Althought I was stationed there as a US soldier, I had many opportunities to travel throughout the country. It is a beautiful place and I hope to visit again someday. |

| 7th September 2006 Stefan | Slovene Service Makes Me Smile - From: Little shards of beauty... You're comment about the Slovene service made me laugh. I know exactly what you mean and I've even been in the situation were the bartender poured the wrong drink and refuse to change it. His reasoning was that "We ordered it and it was nothing he could do". It's got its charm though. I've added your blog to our diredtory of travel stories about Ljubljana at SloveniaWelcomes.com Check it out for similar stories. |
