Finally regrettably after nearly a month of constant 30 temperatures sunshine and beaches we slouched away from the Pacific coast loaded down with some cool memories and me anyway a totally ruined body from too much activity. We spent a few nights in Acapulco which is worse than any horror stories youve read about beach resort places. However seeing the Clavidistas doing there diving at

Buenas Dias...its Tracey Nick is currently attempting to top up his tan apparently i have been banned from sunbathing as in Nicks eyes i look native therefore i am going to do a quick travel blog in hope he catches up and we can stop having comparing sessions.Firstly id like to clarify something Nick mentioned in his last blog about him being machine like in predicting the weather.
Bom DiaThis may get cut short. I have become almost machine like in the prediction of the weather and this afternoons forecast looks like big ass storm to me....We moved on from Guatemala via the most boring coach journey yet just flat and dull though it did pick up some points as two people got off the bus at the border went into a holding room and we didnt see them again....We worked our wa

Was gutted it didnt work out down there and i wondered w

Firstly i would like to publicly congratulate the might Manchester United FC for becoming this season champions. I doubt they have time to read our blog due celebrating but i feel its necessary to mention. Following Nicks last blog despite it only being a couple of days passing i thought i would give you all a few more details. Sort of....we came here instead of El Salvador via Copan Ruinas in Honduras with the intention of going back through El Salvador. I have to say 15 to get into Copan ruins and i was muchly underwhelmed considering the bigger and more atmospheric ones in Mex

So we recovered from the hike of doom only to be faced with the journey of infinate peril Pana to Xela. It wasnt really but it sounds good huh. It should be a simple journey but construction is king in the dry season. They cant do anything during the rainy season so much like England they start as many as they possibly can and thus dont finish them. Organised chaos you see i hear much lik

Hola Nick has allowed me this once to do a travel update. The reason being we did our first proper hike two days ago and in order for me to be able to move on and maybe even do another hike i need to express my self in words. Youll notice i put the word hike in speech marks...thats because it was a lie...and i am still trying to think of something more suitableLet me begin we had a choi

So....we left Flores tired hot but at least we didnt miss the bus and we got to witness the most amazing electrical stormwe headed South away from the heat which was recorded at about 37 celsius. We also escaped a jaded dope fiend Canadian at our hostel AND another Canadian who had a story for every occassion as he reckoned he was a travel writer....i have sold a picture that doesnt mak

Beinvenido como estai just wanted to use an upside down question mark owell i've been awake since about 4a.m. We had booked a sunrise tour to Tikal but as with the other thing i wanted to see at Palenque it didnt work out the alarm didnt function as it should so we missed it and in the process blew 15. A typically successful effort and we cant go during the day as its sooooo hot even

Yep its me...Nick is still battling with a tummy bug. It appears the carribean food and beer remedy we were trying wasnt working therefore it is nil by mouth except for water fruit and rehyrdation sachets. The centre of the village where the shops and internet are etc is a good mile round trip and not wise for Nick to do in the current heat. Fortunatelyor unfortunately for me my stomach appe
