17 de juin. Chateau Haut-Brion et Musee du vin de Bordeaux. We visited Chateau Haut-Brion this morning. We saw how they construct the barrels and constantly test the wine for clarity. We tasted their 2004 classic Merlot, which is 200 Euros per bottle. They said 2005 was a better year for them and those bottles are priced at 1000 Euro per bottle.... In the afternoon we visited the Wine Museum of Bordeaux. THe guide explained the history of wine in Bordeaux to us and showed us the evolution of wine-making.... read more
