On the sunday, we went to the street 93 for a walk after morning breakfast in nearby sin sinma restaurant. Street 93 is famous for its backpackers area, whereby most of the backpackers will stay there, arrange schedules to go to other towns or cities, and also souvenir stores, budgeted eateries and bars. We finally see a familiar fast food brand in Cambodia. It is the famous kk fried chicken, opened on the street of Phnom Penh in the Asia Hotel.We went into the store and see many people packed inside. We ordered our meal and the meal were cheaper than in singapore.2 fried chicken, 1 bun, 1 coleslaw, 1 whipped potato and 1 soft drink cost 2.85 USD (around 3.70 sing dollars).It is also cheaper than our student meal which cost 4.30 sing dollars.Other set meals may include rice or bun, where in singapore branch does not include. Early in the morning, we boarded onto a bus to go to the beach in Sihanoukville for a company outing. Sihanoukville is located southwest of Phnom Penh and it took us 4 hours to get there. On that day the weather was cool after showering. During the journey, we saw plough fields, buffalos and hills. Thie feeling is like going to countryside in the early 60s. On the second week of Sunday in the afternoon we took a ride to a remote village near to Thailand border to see a Cambodian wedding ceremony. It was a one hour ride from Phnom Penh to the village. By the time we reached there the time is 4.30pm. Then we went to the wedding with the bride and groom waiting for us and give us a small door gift. We sat down for meal and the hospitality was great.
