Happy new year everyone! Still hot like you would never believe - 43 degrees today. Had a good new years eve. They dont do the whole partying thing (stay in with the family apparently) until after 2am. None of the bars were open so ended up drinking beers from a sandwich stall on the Harbour with all the others from the hostel. The fireworks were good though and atleast we didnt have hangovers. Hola! First entry in the blog. How exciting, Heather and Paul have a blog! Just a quick line to announce the arrival in Buenos Aires. Spent first day sweating and fully expect more sweat. Walked around a huge graveyard and Evita´s grave along with approx 1 million others. Thinking of buying a plot next to the Perons´..... BA is very busy and loud, big ticker tape parade tonight, think its for lead up to New years and not our arrival. Steak and wine on menu tonight or maybe Frey Bentos pie. more soon, xx... read more
