I'm one of the very few people in the world who have realized that there is so much more to life than going to school, getting a career, having babies and retiring... I know so many people who are not happy and I think that's because they forgot what LIVING LIFE really is all about. I don't wanna waste this one LIFE that I have been given and I only have the chances NOW because I'm living at this very moment. I've always wanted to travel since I was a kid and now it's time for me to live those dreams. There are so many places to see in this world and so many people to meet!
You can earn back the money but not your time.. Do you think that 20 years from now if you kept 2000 euros in the bank instead of having a european trip back in your 20s you would not have any regrets for what you did? Money is just a dirty paper. You have the choice. ^^
Nothing will happen if you won't start walking. Seize the moment and do what you've always wanted to do.
"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." -- St. Augustine
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." -- Helen Keller
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -- Mark Twain

Me and my best friend planned on going to an amusement park in Batangas. It's called Enchanted Kingdom and it has the only decent roller coaster in the country (as far as I know but I really don't know much so don't count on me). I had my two brothers and a cousin with us and also a driver (I can't drive). We arrived there just before noon but we found out that the park wasn't opened yet until 2pm and we had to wait for like 4hours. It was so hot so I decided to do something until they opened and since Tagaytay isn't so far I asked the driver to take us there. I was hoping it would be a little cool there since it's on a higher altitude. I wanted to check out ... read more
It was 10pm, the night before we left for Hong Kong, when I have finally packed my stuff for this trip. I still feel like the worst packer ever. I packed lots of unnecessary stuff with me like tons of colored pens (they have cute shiny glitters haha), a sketch pad (which i didn't even use), diary (too lazy to write) and many others. My brother still haven't packed and he wasn't even home. I have been texting him to come home and just pack his stuff so I can finally go to sleep since we will be leaving early the next morning. Got a bit pissed when I found out he was out drinking but good thing he finally came home, packed his clothes (and he only did it for five minutes). I should definitely ... read more
I made my flight! So I have arrived in Hamburg from Rome just in time but I only have less than two hours to catch my other flight to Manila. It's not a connecting flight so I still have to check-in again but first I have to get my other baggage stocked in the airport for 4 days. Phydie and I had to really run from terminal two of Hamburg airport to terminal one and that was really not easy with our bags and my heavy baggage! Anyway, I didn't miss my flight and I'm off to Manila but it's still gonna be another long flight for me. The flight from Hamburg to Dubai was smooth. There were only a few passengers on board and I had three seats for my self! I got to lay ... read more
We arrived on a very hot april day in Rome, tired and most definitely sleepy, after spending a brutal sleepless night in Marseilles airport the night before. The airport in Rome was packed and it took us forever to find our way to the small ticket booth for our coach that will take us to the city center. We finally got on the coach, felt dizzy on the first five minutes inside the hot bus and felt completely sick 30 minutes after. Wasn't there any airconditioning or something? Or even just an air freshener! The coach took us to Termini, the central station of Rome, and just a few blocks from it is our humble hostel. We took a shower, charged our camera and ate pasta in a small restaurant then off we went to our ... read more
I only speak five french words and it would have really helped us if I just tried to learn some more before we went to Marseille. Very few people can speak in english though they tried really hard to help us with directions. The first person I asked for directions was the bus driver who drove us from the airport. I asked how to go to Prado and he didn't understand me first since I pronounced it "pra-doe" instead of something like "prah-doh". He told me the directions and I kept on saying "Yeah, Okay, Merzeee.." while he was talking but I actually didn't understand a word since he was speaking in French. He did pointed out his hand while talking so at least I knew where to start. Hehe. At the train station, we did ... read more
(april 19 2007 after arriving from Bremen) It was almost midnight when Phydie and I walked around the St. Pauli's district of Hamburg. That road is packed with clubs and is the center of the nightlife in the city but the other attractions that you can find there are the sex shops. It is actually also called in german 'die sündige Meile' (The Sinful Mile in english).. We walked until we reached the harbour, which was totally desserted (I guess everyone is at the clubs in St. Pauli), and stayed for only half an hour and then went home because I was already feeling the need of a rest. (april 20 2007) The next day, we roamed around Hamburg. We checked out the harbour again and well there were some ships, boats and ferries. I also ... read more
Now it's my turn to visit Phydie in Germany (which I am actually a national of). I went to Hamburg from Oslo via Bremen and it was my first time to come there. I had no idea how to get to the Central Station from the Bremen Airport but Phydie told me that I can go there by either using the tram or the train/subway. I was gonna go for the train but I found the tram first and hopped on it not knowing where it was heading. I tried to buy ticket from the machine but I had no coins and I was so conscious of everybody in the tram looking at me as if I was so stupid not to understand how it works (which I am sad to admit is almost true). So ... read more
Day 1 // January 17 2007 I woke up early that day and without having breakfast, left the hotel bringing with me my 3 huge heavy bags and went to the place where I'll be staying for a week until I leave London. It was very hard carrying the 2 huge bags while pulling the heavy stroller bag with a broken handle but anyway I did it. I went back to the hotel and ate breakfast. We checked out and later in the afteroon my aunt went back to Norway. I was finally alone in London and had no idea where to go to so I thought that I should check out the Victoria Library since I was walking pass by it. I didn't see anything fun to do there so I left and walked around ... read more
Day 2 // January 14 2007 We left our hotel about 9 am after we had our breakfast. We bought tickets from the Big Bus Company, one of the tourist buses you'll find in London, and started exploring the city. I was really excited to finally see the famous London landmarks like the Big Ben, London Eye, Tower of London, Tower Bridge and many more.... Our first stop was the Marble Arch near Hyde Park. We stopped by for a while to take some pictures and then went back to the bus stop to catch the next bus. There were a number of tourists waiting as well and good thing we were able to catch some seats for ourselves at the upper deck. The guide we had on the bus was really funny but I can't ... read more
The day after I turned 20, I flew to to London with my aunt. I was planning to move there on my own but I changed my plans and stayed only for ten days there. I looooove this city and had a great time exploring it. // Oh the misfortunes! Our flight from Oslo to London was so early in the morning I had, yet again, only two ours of sleep the night before. We arrived in London at 9 in the morning. Since I was planning to move to London, I had all my stuff with me and it was such a pain in the neck carrying them around. As I was pulling up the handle of my stroller bag, the heaviest one, I accidentaly broke it for pulling so hard. I tried to do ... read more
