One of the most beatiful lake in world Looking at the overview of these lake, it increase my appreciation for the worderful work of creation and beaty of the universe.
Its becuse not everyone is Thai here now, as Indians, Nepalese and Burmese are jumping on the banwagon with owning businesses, and service is taking a turn for the worse than from what we've been used to. Basically they're almost ruining the tourist industry in a way. Then also add into this the timeshare touts that ride along mithering. Still having a great time though brushing this aside.
How things change! Well this blog doesn't sound too good. Ice cream man sells coke and pot....internet cafe try ripping you off and then the tuk tuk taxi dumps you..mmm the thai folk are obviously not remembering that tourists pay their bills!!! Stick with the Islander!! Hope your having a good time anyhow. Love the Symons clan xx
Looks like Josh has lots of fun Hi Guys,
Looks like Josh has a great time even if TFS was a bit if a let down. Some good pics and it looks like you had a good time anyhow. Glad you have returned Joshie, missed him loads. He said he enjoyed his holiday with his nanna and grandad. Roll on the next blog!! Becky xx
Yep I remember........ Funny..Twas just last Sunday we were looking at the photo's from that hol. one pic stood out for me, it encapsulated 'Malta' to a tee. it was one of me laid prostrate on the 'animations' stage, not daring to move an inch because of what that bloody drink had done to my insides. Ah the memories!!!!!
Just surfed in Thanks for the post card. Your generosity shown by thinking about our insignificant little herd when you're on the hols of a lifetime is not lost on us. We've got you on 'favourites' so the kids can check on your progress daily. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!! speak soon
'The Fergies'
Bejewelled!! You two are so jammy! Firstly you get an airline upgrade for FREE - then you go on to win five GRAND's worth of diamond jewelery! Good on ya sport!
For those of you that don't know, I have been the kind neighbour while Tracey & Graham have been away (just as they do for me when I'm on holiday!) checking on their house, opening and closing the cutains etc each day. The only problem I have encountered while doing this is the constant bleep of their answer phone evertime I go into the house! Not wishing to be nosey I have ignored the bleep bleep bleep twice a day for the last three weeks - how sick would they been to return home to a message announcing a win of £5K of earrings, only to find that not only was it too late to claim, but that I had politley ignored the message for 6 weeks!!!!!!!!
Sounds like you are having an absolute ball in sun! We have a couple of inches of snow here tonight - off sledging with the kids in the morning. We await the next blog update (and the next story of good fortune!)
Happy Birthday Great to read all your travel news. Sounds as if you are really enjoying yourselves. Belated Happy Birthday, Tracey. Glad you had a special day for your 40th. Keep the messages coming. We shall be able to keep reading them until the 13th Feb and then we are off. Love to both Jinty and Charles x x x
Oh lordy Tracey's forty!!! Happy birthday to you, Tracey, your 40th will certainly be a memorable one, I'm sure. We enjoyed your photo of Graham clutching his airline upgrade with such glee. We're reasonably certain his face will light up all of the electricity in Oldham for the rest of the winter. Definitely one for the family album. The pic of Tracey in her Homeland looks very pensive and poignant as though you are having many deep thoughts; but maybe just, something like what's for dinner!! Neph Jeff left for Hong Kong this a.m., and Mainland China, Tibet and Nepal. Now we have two bloggers to enjoy. How sad for us that our travels are all vicarious at the moment, but our day will come! Tom had a credit card stolen from his gym locker and within 39 minutes someonehad managed to charge $1000 at WalMart. The Thiefs tried again at Office Depot but the bank cancelled the card due to "suspicious" activity, thank goodness.
More later - enjoying your trip, so keep these blogs coming! Susan and Tom
Travel in Comfort! You do know how to arrange things, those "pods" you're lounging in are like nothing we've flown in. On our next trip to Oldham you will have to give us some tips. We were hearing here in Fla. that London was experiencing terrible winds on your departure date, but it seems they were blowing well for you! Keep us posted, we've enjoyed what we've seen so far. Hope you enjoy your former homeland, Tracey.
Rain???!! Glad you have arrived OK - thought you'd be early due to the wind, but not 170mph!!! Have you seen any flying ridge tiles?? Weather is damp and miserable in Oldham, and work calls tomorrow! Took me 'til 5.30pm to get home from the airport after dropping you off - never mind I'll get my own back on you one day!!! Business Class looks fab! And the model in the photo on the hotel bed looks very relaxed and comfortable in her new surroundings!
Visited, Benalmadena, Spain...Gibraltar and also stayed at Keldy cabins, N.Yorks England so far. Later in the year, we're heading to Cost Teguise in Lanzarote and then Kusadasi in Turkey in August....busy year!
We welcome all comments from whoever....Graham and Tracey Thomas from Oldham, UK... full info
