MIDDLE EAST. I arrived in Cairo very early in the morning after a long flight from Argentina with a connection in Paris. Cairo is experiencing the first steps on the way to democracy after the last civil revolution. There are everyday public demonstrations in which you can see a great enthusiasm shown by the people. Men, women and children need to express their feelings. I read an interesting graffiti which said “Enjoy the revolution”, a funny way to show how they react to this new period in their history. Our visit in Cairo included the pyramids, the Coptic area, the street markets and the museum, of course. Every visit depends on what you are interested in. I love street markets and the people. It is in those places where you can definitely see and appreciate the ... read more

It was my first time in Asia. I am so glad I made this trip because it was a challenge for me but mainly because I could see and enjoy different cultures and amazing experiences. I arrived in Bangkok where I met my friend Nasim. Bangkok is a city to see thousands of people, motorbikes, and more motorbikes!!!!!!!!! But it´s much more than that: floating markets, street markets, extraordinary food, some of the most beautiful women in the world, and smiles. We visited the Grand Palace, something not to be missed. Then we travelled to the north to Chiang Mai to visit the hill tribes. The long neck women, the Hmong people, the Akha people are among the main ones. I met Jim Richardson and Emiliano, two great travellers. We spent a lovely evening having some ... read more

It was my fifth trip to Brazil and I know it won´t be the last. It all started in Buenos Aires with a visit to a very special place called La Casa de María Tango where I met some friends from several foreign countries. La Casa de María Tango is a typical Palermo house built at the beginnings of XX century or perhaps earlier. The owners know how to make people feel good. The atmosphere is centered around tango and the passion it implies. We had dinner (the typical parrilla, or barbecue) and after that some people danced tango. I recommend this place. It´s about 20 minutes ride from downtown. Next step: Sao Paulo. A huge city that is considered the most important economic centre in South America. There´s no doubt about it that you realize ... read more

My trip to the US started with a long road to get a visa. Yes. I am from Argentina, one of the so many countries that need a visa to visit the USA. I arrived in Los Angeles on a hot and humid sunday morning. I went straight to the hostel and after the check in I wanted to start discovering the city. Hollywood boulevard was close to the hostel which was good because if you don´t have a car it´s nearly impossible to get around. I took lots of pictures of the famous stars on the sidewalks. Next day I took a tour to have a general idea of the big city and its surroundings: Beverly Hills, houses of celebrities and 2 beaches, Venice Beach and Santa Monica. It was all right, nothing too special ... read more
