You Guys Evan, Chris,
You guys planed, committed to and executed a fabulous trip. Two unlikely souls in many ways formed the yin and yang to pull off a trip that overcame illnesses, poverty, burocratic incompetence. and sleeping together longer than some marriages last. What a friendship you have cemented. I am jealous of the brotherhood you have formed and so proud of your personal and social accomplishments. Mattresses for 50? Commin' Up!!
your photos and excellent journalism kept us embedded with your joys and adventures.
Hey! the Men who returned are 6 months older...wiser... and have seen a world that none of us have experienced. Good work son. I'm very proud
Dad
I'm so impressed at the budgeting! I never quite had the courage to take a night train... You guys are looking great- happy and terrifyingly grown up. Can't wait to hear about the rest of Italy!
Thank you for posting a blog of your experiences. We are looking to volunteer with FSL India next month, and your good experience is encouraging. Best wishes.
As I sit here, in my cramped residence room with an unconcious drunk of a roommate working on a 3,000 word essay on the influence of Greek philosophy on Christian religions, I think to myself...
"Wow, Evan and Chris were right. Elias, you're a goon."
When are you cats coming home?
Wow! You Goldlen Travellers will have nothing left for your Goldlen Years Chris: Nice talking with you this Easter eve; your Dad gave me the link to your trip and I have spent the past 3 hours following your trip from Toronto; I am amazed and impressed. It sounds as if Evan is a great friend and good companion; as a Mom, I am glad to be reading about some of your exploits AFTER you have experienced them! Looking forward to the next bit of text and photos (which, by the way, are great!)
I'm seriously so proud... and a little choked up... Now knock it off and show us funny pictures of you with a bratwurst in Germany, okay?
You guys really do amaze me though :)
You guys are great. I went to India when I was 5 and some cattle attacked me. Be careful out there, make sure nobody transfers their blood into you.
best wishes boys!
oh baby a friend of mine was in thailand over christmas break.. he went to a ping pong show and told me all about it..... hahah did you guys see one?? your trip looks incredible i miss you guys

Wow! That's not like *anything* I've seen before! I'm so proud of you guys for navigating and sorting everything out. I hope it makes you excited for Thailand! And Mr. Madill's right: your hair looks fantastic! :)
looking good guys! Hey, great photos. I am trying to follow you guys as much as possible. What an amazing trip. What's more amazing is that you guys are half way around the world, roughing it in the outdoors, sleeping in a tent, have very few amenities - yet - your hair still looks great........how do you guys do that???
Seriously, loving the photos, the blogs and the updates. Keep up the great adventures! Keep smiling. Mr. Madill
What a very informative page on your experience with us. You must have been listening to all geoff's comments, I think he secretly wanted to be a tour guide.
It was our pleasure to help Evan and Chris, what well adjusted and well mannered lads. We truly enjoyed their company and their parents can be rest assured that they have allowed two very capable young men to travel the world. What an amazing oppportunity for them both and we wish them all the luck in the world and look forward to keeping up with their travels.
I dont even know what to say Holy shit. I cant believe you actually did it. Those pictures look awsome. Dude, Im all kinds of jeolous right now. haha... looks like you're feeling better.
