| 21st December 2009 ioama | At least you're in a city... - From: Graduating from Asia Although Pittsburgh has a university with people your age, and at least a couple bars. You could be living in rural Montana, or South Dakota... even colder, flatter, and more redneck. But I can't wait to hear what happens next to you in Pittsburgh...haha. |
| 10th September 2009 William | Yen for Dollars - From: Pivot Point What about teaching English, can't you teach some english classes for cash? |
| 26th July 2009 yakyu otaku | - From: 3 Day Weekend-Day 1: Triples 爆笑。 |
| 17th July 2009 Captain Dongs | wat - From: Calgary+Montana Trip (Day 10) The Climax I read most of this story for some strange reason. It's like a train wreck, you just cant stop staring at it. You're a goddamn pansy. |
| 16th July 2009 anonymous | You're forgetting one sound. - From: The Sounds of Mediocrity What sound does it make when you jerk it? |
| 30th June 2009 yakyu otaku | Ted's true whereabouts - From: Pivot Point Canada can be pretty boring but Ted just finished a two week long road trip across North America, which you'll read about if he ever writes himself out of the whole he's in. |
| 30th June 2009 Todd | Hang in there - From: Pivot Point Hang in there Gen! I know you probably don't want to, but is manual labor an option?? Love the blog, i'm glad you kept it. |
| 30th June 2009 generationk | huh? - From: Pivot Point I'm friends with Teddy...but me and Teddy are two separate people...who are you? |
| 30th June 2009 Hideki | - From: Pivot Point Ted are you really that bored back in Canada that you have to pretend to be Gen??? |

| 25th May 2009 yakyu otaku | Fuck Yeah. - From: A Soldier's Duty Oh man, America rules so hard. We totally own this planet. Too bad you're not a Vietnamese American though, might've helped you navigate those obstacles. Charlie loves climbing trees. |
| 14th May 2009 C BENZ | MUAHAHAHA - From: A Soldier's Duty Amazing. it's even better if i read it when i'm tipsy! WOO HOO! Snake. out. |
| 12th May 2009 generationk | Thanks for the support - From: A Message There's been an equally strong backlash, but obviously they haven't put their thoughts in a public forum. I'm still deciding what to do... |
| 5th May 2009 Drein | The double edge - From: A Message All depends on how far you want to fall down the rabbit hole. I personally love your stuff, but then again, it doesn't involve me. I think if it had, I wouldn't say this: life is supposed to be about pursuing things that make you complete and happy. Even if its temporary. If you quit this blog, something that obviously makes you happy (personally, not because others enjoy it), because your being pressured indirectly to do so, then your going against yourself. Then again, my whole argument is void since I wouldn't be a supporter if it involved me on levels I'm not comfortable with. Tough choice, hope your criteria for deciding rests on what you think will make you a happier person. |
| 4th May 2009 williamhrs | hi there :d - From: A Message dude, you have a reader from Brazil lol :) one day i was bored at work and was searching for blogs that talked about abroad experiences, cuz i was a foreign exchange student in MN in 06-07 and well it was really interesting....... so i found your blog on google and i think i read all of it in a few days of boring work...... and by the way I also study computer science :) |
| 30th April 2009 dt | one vote for up - From: A Message This blog probably helps you too. In times of loneliness you'll realize there are still those who care (the readers). |
| 30th April 2009 c-Bizzle | What to do indeed... - From: A Message I must say, you in quite a conundrum (I don't even know if that's the right usage). I suggest keep up with the nicknames, and let your success come naturally. Don't use it for them hoes. |
| 29th April 2009 alpha male | leave it up - From: A Message simple. it is what it is. you've obfuscated people's identities enough. My .02 cents |
| 29th April 2009 yakyu otaku | What to do. - From: A Message Accrete more layers. Problematize. Turn inward, face outward. Dig, do not bury. Once you've started, you can't go back. You couldn't stop now if you tried. If not here, then somewhere else. The story itself begs to be told. Just remember "the truth" ceases to be the minute you start telling the story. Teddy |
| 21st April 2009 generationk | we'll definitely get it popping in may - From: A Plug nice seeing you again. time to do it in epic fashion! |
| 15th April 2009 C-Bizzle | It better be... - From: A Plug Yo, May should be epic... we should hit some shit up! Also, I need my BBQ back. Call me when you're not studying and I'll come 'round and pick it up. |
| 1st April 2009 yakyu otaku | Chaucer would be Jealous. - From: Depression, Honesty, Elation, Craziness: A RollerCoaster of Emotions "I had forgotten we were still holding hands like the Korean War." "her second base wasn’t actually a Keystone bag but a painted on plate." You are the MASTER of comic similes and metaphors. There is no second. |

| 2nd March 2009 yakyu otaku | Et tu Gendawg. - From: Safe To Read This During Your Lunch Break At Work Denuo caveat emptor “I mean…I genuinely like her unlike any other girl.” Don’t we always say this? “my attraction to them was more physically based, while this seems purer because I’m not doing it for the looks, but more the character.” - -Just remember how this turned out for me. |
| 5th February 2009 generationk | thanks - From: A Never Before Told Story for the support |
| 7th January 2009 yakyu otaku | - From: A New York Surprise It's shitty how the jailbait over here don't have any sailor-uniforms to warn you to keep your hands off 'em. You just can't tell these days... |
| 2nd January 2009 Muffin Girl | tsk tsk - From: A New York Surprise Definitely does NOT follow the divide-by-two-and-add-seven rule for dating. I'm glad you stopped yourself, though--I would have given you a beating if you robbed her cradle. |
| 16th December 2008 Muffin Girl | Amazing - From: A Never Before Told Story The story was really quite good. Whether or not people prefer the new you, the truth is you've grown up. Just remember, tho, being mature is not a bad thing. It'll help out in your marriage prospects... =) |

| 26th August 2008 Cory Fuckin' Bensen | no worries mate - From: A Difference in Experience Don't worry man, I feel the exact same way after being on exchange for several months... kind of like a long-term vacation while all my friends in Seattle and in Montreal are growing up, getting into relationships, getting jobs, and thinking like adults. I just want to party, and I have since January. So don't worry, if you need to places to party it up, we'll go full-out. |
| 6th August 2008 Maddy | Wow - From: Throwing Rocks at Racist Vehicles Leads to Good Things Gen...you hit a homerun for the first time in 8 months and you're this excited!? You've completely fallen off your game...I'm ashamed to say that we dated once |
| 2nd August 2008 generationk | Replies - From: Throwing Rocks at Racist Vehicles Leads to Good Things Teddy-maybe, but considering the state of my team...ill take any pitcher ready to pitch in the majors. sometimes, its heart>skill and a relief pitcher will become a starter. Cory-word! hit me up with those crazy aussie stories in sept. alpha male-Maybe in my sr yr, ill become an alpha. maybe. moggiwog-put that in your pipe.... muffin girl-will do. will do. |
| 1st August 2008 Muffin Girl | - From: Throwing Rocks at Racist Vehicles Leads to Good Things Although I'm a sucker for sweeping confessions of love, sweeping a girl into bed works, too. I approve. Just make sure to get me the details during our next drunk AIM convo... |

| 28th July 2008 Teddy | Kyou no Caaaarp ha katsu! katsu! katsu! - From: Throwing Rocks at Racist Vehicles Leads to Good Things Banzai! Banzai! Banzai! Just got back from Hiroshima with broski. Congrats on the first home run of the season! If you can shell out hits in the Texas league just think about what you can do when get back to the J's or even MTL! As for your recent acquisition...she may look AZN gen, but she sounds white to me. Sounds like just another American righty...good choice for a few innings of releif, might be a bad choice for a closer. |
| 2nd July 2008 Teddy | NRA - From: Shooting the $hit I called this one from so far off... |
| 17th June 2008 alpha male | fuck - From: Interacting with the Locals...the NYC Way fuck. shit man. we're even on the fist fight tally. going to break my record? Mine wasn't so soon though. stay safe man. one tip: if you're drunk and you run into cops resist the urge to mouth off to them. this urge will come strongly though because they seem stupid. they are... but they can also arrest you. |
| 16th June 2008 Teddy | It's True. - From: Interacting with the Locals...the NYC Way Women ARE all liars. At least that guy wansn't packin'. NOW will you consider joining the NRA? |
| 13th June 2008 generationk | It seems like a good idea... - From: Flailing Around in Texas ...but if I were to get arms, I'd rather get a fighter jet and enough fuel for one leg of the journey. Oh...and eternal love from the emperor |
| 9th June 2008 Teddysmith | Consider the NRA? - From: Flailing Around in Texas You can't commit Suicide in Texas Gen, God's exists down there and he'll send you to hell. Maybe consider a hobby, most undersexed men in the south compensate for it by buying copious amounts of firearms (and then concealing them apparently) ...why don't you get a peice and let of some steam. Besides, you might be able to show off some o'dat' NY steez at the range...girls love a straight shooter. |
| 6th June 2008 alpha male | welcome to texas - From: A Wild 48 Hours what the heck is a kokuhaku moment? I googled it but the first thing that came up was this blog post. haha. Sucks about J-zn... are you going to be in Montreal again after Texas? Maybe you could make some moves in the off season and come back with a better team next year. anyway, give me a call and let me know if there's anything you need down there in texas. Are you staying in Traditions? Look for this Physics kid name Mark, he's a solid guy and should help show you around etc. The little sushi place right next to you is pretty mediocre but you should be a welcome respite from the tex-mex fare in Northgate. The weekend is coming up... so round up all the REU kids who are slightly social and throw a party in your room. Just make sure there is loud music and alcohol available (it also helps to make friends with the dorks who work at the traditions, because they can get you out of a jam sometimes if you drunkenly break shit or forget your keys. Don't ask me how I know that) After your nice and socially lubricated, go out to a bar on Northgate and meet some of the students/locals. Just don't get into a fight. Let me know how it goes. |
| 28th May 2008 cory | dude... - From: Shortstop is Posted Back to Japan Look at your last line... that should be enough said. You'll be the kick ass AZN from NYC that goes to school in FRENCH Canada!!! time to change your team colors from the Tigers (or insert other j-league team) to the Rangers (or Stars... but who wants to be a National league team?)... just remember that. |
| 27th April 2008 cory | DERTAY! - From: Preview of the Summer Yo dude..it's alright, texas won't be as bad as like their neighbours to the east because they have money! Rich people aren't as ignorant! I went to Texas and it's full of Mexicans.... and they hate mexicans a lot more than they hate asians.... either way i can't wait. |
| 26th April 2008 generationk | re C-Benz - From: Calgary+Montana Trip (Day 10) The Climax hate to admit it but yea, i broke down a bit in werby's. fucking french-even their nasty junk food is romantic. |
| 26th April 2008 C-Benz | .... - From: Calgary+Montana Trip (Day 10) The Climax Did you really break at Belle? I wish I was there. And dude, Japan has roughly 127 million people, at least half of that are female. In the city of Tokyo there are 12 million people, so that that gives about 5,987,230 females to try and go after (single or married? your call). Summer has started and you'll be in Nippon soon enough. Can't wait to hear about new interests! |
| 25th April 2008 Maddy | You should - From: Calgary+Montana Trip (Day 10) The Climax 1) continue playing "baseball" but use itfor practice for the huge series at the end of the season 2) continue playing baseball as you do and try to add her to your pitching rotation at the end of the summer (so you get a 5 man like last yr) 3) be depressed and destroy your summer and put all your eggs in one basket 4) get back with me cuz im the hottest girl you ever know ("I tell people I dated a model to get respect"-pssh, im a stat booster?) i think choices 2 or 4, but wait until others have commented |
| 14th April 2008 Teddy | - From: Calgary+Montana Trip (Day 3) Usage of fiscal similes and hyperlinks: golden. |
| 4th April 2008 alpha male | you're still at bat... - From: Calgary+Montana Trip (Day 4+5) This sounds like you're still at bat and the count is something like 2-2. |

| 12th July 2007 Yif | - From: saturday you're not gay because you post stories of drinking and boning girls, you should start a frat or something. |
| 9th July 2007 yakyu otaku | That's rough - From: my great day Seems like we never snag the ones we really want here...just gotta swing at the strikes as they come do-ggy. Those veteran pitchers really know had to put a mean break on the pitch though... It probably wasn't true love either...bet she doesn't even know who Reyes is...over here, the MLB is passion for guys and fasion for girls. |
