Leone let me read your email - From: Manchester & Liverpool
Leone kindly passed on your latest travelogue to me, and I found it really interesting. Don't think we will get up t'north of England, though I would have liked to have practised my Scouse. We are taking a fast train from London through to Edinburgh, and will then travel back through the Lakes District to Bangor in Wales. We leave NZ on 13 September, so it is rolling round pretty damn quick! Three nights in Hong Kong (which, I believe, is much like Bluff in that it is a port town) and then to London. Leave from there for a 20 day tour around Europe - about half an hour in each country except for Paris, where we have 45 minutes. (Is Paris a country?) My sister has already decided not to travel with me, because the doctor has insisted I wear pressure stockings, and I have found the white ones that I wore after surgery that have "Property of the Southland Health Board" written all over them. I am not concerned as much with deep vein thrombosis as I am about pushing the lever on the toilet too soon and having some of my small intestine sucked out over the Atlantic. I think I did express that worry to you when you were here, and you assured me that you could travel all the way to Britain non-stop without paying a penny. What a bladder!!! Judy We are missing you at work. Do you have any plans for returning home?

Is that a hint of sarcasim I detect in your response? The Imperial War Museum is actually really cool. Also looking foward to the Churchill Musuem in the old Cabinet War Rooms. You and your unquenchable thirst for knowledge would probably quite enjoy it.

Great to hear you guys are still doing it well. Thought I should say gidday. Emma your hair has grown long! How are you guys going to manage over the world cup? All well here, not quite so cold in Blenheim as in other places, I had a whistle stop 18 hour visit home at the weekend, the kids still rock, Mills is COOL! Gave Knocker the biggest scare of his life to date when I just rocked into his bedroom first thing in the morning when he didn't even know I was around. He didn't talk to me for a wee bit after that. Daffies are out here and lambs.... I hope you making the most of those awesome temps because I'm guessing it will swing pretty quick when it does. We miss you guys!!! Ni`c x

Busy Beavers - From: Oh Canada!
We appreciate your really long and informative blog. You seem to have been very busy wee beavers, making the most of all your free time. The fireworks sounded spectacular. The heat seems a bit over the top. you must be fading away with the heat and the excessively long days, but I suppose that is a bit more money. What happens to your job in the approaching Canadian winter? Have you made contact with the Conway boys yet? What other trips are in the pipeline?. Keep having fun and take care. Love to both of you. Mum

Hi Guys - From: A visit from The Police, a Birthday and a trip to Whistler.
Hello to you both, sounds like you are having an awesome time. Winter has set in now, we are having quite a few frosts. Good to see the sun in the afternoons though. We are having a staff night out this Saturday. Going to the Lone Star for a meal. It has been renovated so looking forward to seeing what it is like. Sting Netball fever is again on. We had a very tight match against the Bay of Plenty Magic last Friday night here at the Stadium to earn the right to play against the Northern Force in Auckland this week for the final. It was great that they won because it was the very last game that sting as they are now will play at the stadium, because of the aussies pushing their way into the competition next year. So heres hoping they can beat the Force. Will be interesting because they beat us the week before. Davu did a big shoulder charge on Ardine Wilson that caused a huge fuss. Sent her flying into the advertising boards. She should of been sent off!!!!! Revenge here we come. GO STING. Anyway theres the All Blacks to watch at the weekend as well. Might just stay up all night on Saturday night perhaps!!!!! Thanks for the blogs, it is interesting to read what you have been doing. Take care until next time. Cheers, Mary and all the staff at Tisbury School

Great to share your journey. You certainly seem to have done your homework well and know exactly what you want to see and do. I didn't realise how vast your music knowledge was. Do you realise that someone tags along behind on your journeys, stopping at the towns along the way too, via google earth, so these stay at homes can feel a wee bit involved. Connor gets to see the bears you hunt out Emma. Keep it up, and keep having fun. Of course Gareth you know on your return you will be expected to speak with many sentences, as we know you have a good command of language!

Hello, thanks heaps for the blogs they really are very cool and it is great that they are so imformative, as Trog/Jude have commented earlier for one who apparently speaks so little you certainly have a great grasp of the english language! Did you get the pics I sent you of the kids? I think I sent them to your yahoo address gareth. News over here is that we are putting in new kitchen, carpet and a heat pump in to our palace, so will be a whole new look when you next pop in for a visit. Probably a few months off yet but will send you some pics when its done. have to go now as it is a beautiful lazy sunny sunday afternoon and I am off to work!!!! Take care, Love Rach & Co

Thanks for your travel blogs. Your Dad Emma sends them on to us I think. It is put on the notice board and people read it at their leisure. It sounds as if you're having a great time of it all. School's going well. I don't know if Janine has left for England yet, she's still waiting on her Visa last I heard, but her replacement Toni is fitting in well. No other changes at the moment - I think we have had enough for a while. Take care Margaret

Do not worry Hamish and the painters got it ready for the first stage at 11am Friday. Its painted grey, white and black.

Hello sis - From: More from Van
Hey I can not remember your email address so I have just left a comment here. What is you postal address for your package of dip. I am at work, on my holiday and am sick it sucks. How are you guys? You need to take some photos of your place so I can see what it is like. I went home for a day at easter (mum and dad were in ChCh and away for the rest of easter). Every one is well even Tabatha, although dad told me off for doing too much for her. He said it would make her lazy. Like she has not been lazy all her life, shes a cat!!!! The weather overhere is starting to get cold, so I assume it is getting warmer for you. I have my first cold of the year fun times. I have actually spent most of easter in bed with the electric blanket on (to Smudge's great joy). Smudge is good although she ripped my fav sheets on the line yesterday. She was trying to catch a butterfly on the sheets and ate my sheet with the butterfly. Not to mention the huge rip where she jumped on the butterfly. Stupid cat. She was then very disturbed that she got caught in the fitted part. She is so cute but very dumb. Are you guys ahead on Grey's Anntomy? Does Merideth die?? I tried to look up internet but it did not tell me, was too much of a spoiler. I have a new show that I watch "Men in trees" I like it but not as much as "bones". Hope work is still going well my work is fine. We are busy at the mement and I have lots of work to do but too sick to concentrate. Well email me with your email address and mail address so I can send you stuff. My email address is sbegg@deloitte.co.nz Love Sarah
