I hear there is great coconut rum to be tasted 'out there.' And by that I mean outside of the restrictions and trade embargoes of the US confinement. It's difficult for my virgin taste buds to imagine. The thought, based on past experience, of coconut rum makes a sugary chill run down my spine.

Happy New Year Ari! Thanks so much for sharing your New Year's celebrations at Khan's (proving that people do and love to party every where on this amazing planet). The trek to Mt. Meru sounds utterly magical, and I can only imagine sitting on the ridge as the sun rose to a new year, with Kiliminjaro quietly, impressively looming just a few miles away.
