Adelaide Aquatic Center was opened in the year 1969. It has since then undergone several renovations in order to equip itself with modern day facilities. The center is operated by the Adelaide City Council and is located in northern Adelaide. The center is one of the favorite spots for the residents of Adelaide, as it offers them wide range of facilities like swimming pools, fitness center and lots of other facilities. Brisbane is one of the most populous cities in Australia. For decades the city authorities have devised numerous plans to smoothen its traffic congestion by building a strong infrastructure in all the areas. One such infrastructure which was designed to reduce the congestion on Victoria Bridge is the Story Bridge. Story Bridge was opened in the year 1940 and is named after John Douglas Story who was an influential Australian politician and one of the key persons who advocated strongly for its construction. The bridge spans the Brisbane River and connects the Fortitude Valley to the Kangaroo point. Sydney the commercial capital of Australia has several modes of commutation for its residents. Out of all the commutation modes, the most exciting mode is the Manly ferry services which connect the suburb of Manly to the Circular Quay. The ferry services are managed and operated by Sydney Ferries Corporation which is owned by the government of New South Wales. All the ferry route which comes under Manly is marked in light blue color on the ferry route map. On 31 December 2008, the Sydney Ferries JetCat was discontinued and was replaced with Manly Fast ferries which is owned and managed by private entities. Mount Lofty which is the highest peak in the Mount Lofty ranges is a popular tourist destination among local and international tourists.
