Everybody told me to take the metro but I got refused entry because bikes are not allowed inside. I decided to go by road and asked a police officer that told me it was way too far he said 60km and that anyway bikes were not allowed in the tunnel...I cycled to the next station wondering what to do. Officers were surprised to see someone on a bicycle and they were quite curious. At some point one of them even asked me quite formally to step a few meters away from my bike. I started to wonder what it was all about when in fact he jumped on it and did a few meters just to try it Anot http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Vietnam/blog-381577.html Mysterious Laos I was not sure what to expect when arriving to Laos.
