rain has been exer more a pain in my but, 4 the last 4 weeks. floods, broken fences and stranded cattle. but it cold in the mornings, when fetching cows to milk. but the rest of the day is hot sun. a bit windy. but loverly. not to busy here at the backpackers, but the cows are calving. and we are now milking 100 cows. excellent fishing up in the bay of islands, kingis, sharks, kahawai, trelvelly and snappa, being caught from, the rocks, beach and boat. and soft pastics are doing the damage up here. flounder spearing produces a good feed, and is easier than sat at the beeach waiting to get a feed. "really if i would of known, i would have started early" 1st from fishburn. well i aint that good with modern technolgy, or my spelling so bear with , me! male, single and working and traveling the world, @ the moment i am in north island newzealand, working @ a farm/hostel, in the bay of islands, it's a cool place, i'll cut to the chase, it's where i met MAAIKE HOOGSTEADE, from holland, a really full of beans ,out there ladie, who, helped me on the farm, milking the cows, fenceing, chasing the moo moo's. but the best thing she did, was teach the baby 2 day old calfs to drink milk, now if you think, that's it's a walk in the park, you'll be wrong, you get kicked,run over and maueld by these thing's, ... read more
