| 2nd November 2009 Kristy | Unimaginable. - From: Auschwitz, Poland I can't imagine what must have been going through your head during this experience. So sad and disturbing. |
| 2nd November 2009 Kristy | Holy poo. - From: Kutná Hora, CZ That is the creepiest/coolest thing EVER. |
| 25th October 2009 Gloria | - From: Auschwitz, Poland What a horrible place. |
| 19th October 2009 Kelly S. | - From: In weinerland, it's all sausage to me! (Vienna, Australia) Why hello there! I have been following your blog since the beginning and have wanted to chime in so many times. I've enjoyed all the commentary and pictures that you've shared. A bunch of the places you've written about I've also been to, so it's fun to relive them through the two of you. I think the best part for me is reading about all of the random stories...the "lime" bus, the arrogant passport control people, the crazy stray dogs, missing the last flight EVER to istanbul(what are the chances?!), etc. With things like that you just have to throw up your hands and know that in time it will be a great story to tell...It seems like you've taken it all in stride which is the way to go! Have an awesome rest of your time abroad and I look forward to whatever else you post! Take care. |
| 19th October 2009 Erika | thank you - From: Auschwitz, Poland thank you for going. and taking pictures. |

| 22nd September 2009 Cheri (Mom) | A slice of Heaven - From: lazy days on the island of Brač Em, you little fish. Carmenita(that was her name wasn't it?) would be proud, except you were always on a floating device instead of really swimming. Did you? You girls do such a good job of photojournalling. Second career maybe? Talk to Rick Steves, maybe he could get you a job! Love you. xoxoMOM p.s. I was hoping for a picture of that deadly sunburn you had. |
| 22nd September 2009 Kristy | Awesome! - From: Who has two thumbs and likes Berlin... This might be my favorite post yet. How freaking COOL that you ran into someone you knew?! Glad that all is going well ladies... I can't wait to hear more. |
| 18th September 2009 Graham | Memory is a Casualty - From: Sarajevo, Bosnia Im so so glad you got to see the national library/archives and took a picture of it. This was the reason I was going to meet you there. The National Archives was a strategic target during the siege, because the goal was to erase all existing memory of the ethnic minorities in Bosnia. There are some very interesting videos of people scrambling to haul boxes of records out of the archives while the place is being bombed/shot at/torched. Several people were killed attempting to save the records. Thanks! |
| 17th September 2009 Mo | Emliee! - From: Sarajevo, Bosnia How cool!!!! I'm so glad that you and Tages are blogging about your travels! Reading this and looking at the pictures made me forget all that was bugging me today! Have fun! And keep us all posted!!!!!! |

Also, I love the Hungary Chipotle. I was already moved to comment because I loved how you all said you found the "hungarian chipotle" but their decor totally looks like my dream kitchen/breakfast nook. Brown pride forever even in Hungary. Question for T- are our people in Hungary? This seems very interesting to me that you can get a taco there. Ok, that's all. Thanks for the shout out! | 3rd June 2009 Cheri | statue by the port - From: Un bilet pana la Black Sea, va rog! I wonder if that statue by the port was supposed to be 3 of the disciples who had fished long into the night without getting anything. Then Jesus told them to throw their nets over the other side of the boat and it was filled with fish so heavy they could hardly bring it in. |

Don't know if you know that we are building a home in Gardner. Aaron was already going to live with us while he finishes school but now Brock and Kellie also so they can save for a new home. We will have plenty of room for everyone and of course we are very excited to have everyone home to roost a while. It should be completed in later July. Work is going well here and Larry will be retiring end of June. We are all going back to Ellis this weekend as the school is having a Community Retirement Reception for Larry. I better get to bed as need to travel the 4 & 1/2hrs back in the morning. Kids will come later. Well I am getting long winded. It is in the genes!! ;-) Love ya Both and have a safe and wonderful relaxing time of your lives!!! |
