The main reason for making a stop in Vienna is not because it is the capital of Austria or the capital of Wrstelstands but because of Simone and other old friends that I haven't seen since 2000. If you don't know Simone was an exchange student at Lakeville High School 305n 1996 and we have remained friends since. The Sedlec Ossuary Bone Church is a small Roman Catholic chapel located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints. The ossuary is estimated to contain the skeletons of between 40000 and 70000 people many of whom have had their bon http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Czech-Republic/Central-Bohemian-Region/Kutna-Hora/blog-439628.html prague cz home of the beer Our time in Czech Republic was short. Berlin is off the hook Emily and i had such a wonderful time that it was hard to leave Berlin. After being on an island for 27 days it was so nice being in a big city where there are so many vegetarian options and to actually have a real bed to sleep inLet me start at the beginning... We left the island of Brac at 7 in the morning and had to head back to Split by the catamaran. I really loved Bosnia and wanted to see another city besides Sarajevo. I was also interested in seeing the region of Herzegovina. Our friend Tina in Serbia recommended Banja Luka and Mostar and we had also met a Dutch traveller in Sarajevo who told us a little about the history of Mostar the seige ethnic cleansing and the city's division between Cr http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Bosnia-and-Herzegovina/South/Mostar/blog-428770.html Sarajevo Bosnia Friday July 3rd We took an 8 hour airconditioned...yes bus to Sarajevo Bosnia from Beograd Serbia. Tages and I were overwhelmed at how beautiful Bosnia was. We didnt know much about Bosnia and didn't know what to expect because it is not in the one large guide book we decided to bring. I felt like my breath was taken away when seeing Bosnia out of the bus window. There were three reasons we picked Oradea to be our exit point out of Romania. One it was close to Budapest. Two Tages really wanted to visit the popular Bear Cave. Three Oradea has the only strictly vegetarian restaurant in Romania. We had read a vague discription about a camping ground in Oradea and we figured we http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Romania/Crisana/Bihor/Oradea/blog-408083.html street art there has been some pretty awesome stencil art and graffiti around europe. keep checking back as i am sure this will keep growing. http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/blog-408694.html Va rog ducetima la Sighisoara Saturday May 23rd..Today we travelled Northwest to Sighisoara by a dirty old rambling train with lots of character. Our new friend Wieteke from the Netherlands took the train with us because she had also planned to stay a night in Sighisoara. When stepping off the train it had a distinct small town feel about it. Sighisoara was high and low. The main city was low in the valley in between two moun http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Romania/Transilvania/Mures/Sighisoara/blog-408037.html over the mountains to Transylvania Tuesday May 19th. We took the 613am Ptrain from Gara de Noor in Bucharest to Brasov. We were so excited to get our first peek at the mountains. The train ride was very nice and quiet. We arrived at the chaotic train station and navigated our way by bus to the hostel. Unfortunately they did not get our reservations and the cheapest dorm room was booked. We had to stay in a private room which wa http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Romania/Transilvania/Brasov/Brasov/blog-405171.html te iubesc bucharest May 17th to May 19th.
