So I've decided to start planning my next trip. I haven't traveled out of the country (not counting 1 day in Victoria, BC a few years ago) since my big birthday trip to Sydney, Australia, in Sept of 2004. With the big 3-8 coming up in September, I decided that I wanted to go somewhere unique. That is why I picked Brazil. I haven't settled on dates yet, but I'm thinking of going the last week in September or the first week in October. Being that I won't have a lot of time accrued for vacays from work, I can only afford to take a week off. It will give me a chance to get away and have a tiny taste of a new culture. I cannot wait!
