Wow how I hate packing. This is the going to be an awesome trip. The cameras are charging the memory cards cleared and the liver is resting for the long nights of punishment that are to come. Wow I can't belive it we made it to Florida. Day one and we drove about 500 miles. Stopped at three walmarts on the way down and had a car scare. Hopefully that's all behind us and tommorrow we can make it down to the keys. It's bike week and their are tons of bikers around. Thats cool but they are a little noisy.... read more

Wow, how things change like the wind one minute you sitting around getting ready to go to Hilton Head the next the next thing you know the winds change and your headed strit for the keys. I love my life never knowing from one molment to the next where I'll be. The winds have changed my friend and now so will my path. See you in the keys.... read more

It's almost time. I'm making my final checks on my gear and the car. Chelsea and I will be takeing a road trip through the south. We will driveing from Virginia down to Hilton head for a few days. Then we will depart for Florida. We don't quite know where in Florida yet but we have an Atlas,TomTom, and my D50 camera which is all we need. This past summer I traveled to Chincoteague Island. This is one of the best trip I have taken in years. This area is not your typical beach trip. Their are plenty of things to do other than go to bars and theme parks. So if you are into a busy trip full of shopping and roller coasters this would not be a place you wanted to visit. While we visited we crabbed and met lots of nice locals who showed us the ropes on crabbing and gave us some rundown on great places to eat and the hot crab spots.
